Solution:

=> 12 x 72 = 864
Therefore, the total number of flowers planted by the gardener in 72 rows is 864.
2. A carton holds 72 packets of chocolates. How many chocolates can be packed in 15 cartons?
Solution:
Number of chocolate packets in one carton = 72
Number of chocolate packets in 15 cartons = Number of chocolate packets in one carton x 15
=> 72 x 15 = 1080
Therefore, the total number of chocolate packets in 15 cartons is 1080.
3. Each student paid Rs 72 to purchase coupons for the school fair. How much has been spent by a class of 20 students?
Solution:
