World Air Quality Report 2020

The world air quality report has been organized by a Swiss company that is IQ AIR. The report of world air quality can be analyzed by the ground level of research and continuous monitoring of stations.

It is crystal clear that the environment study has been oriented with air quality reports. On the other side, pollution issues are associated with population size and diversified organisms. The world air quality report is going to be explored upon both subjects equally. Moreover, world air quality is the analysis of ground-level data that cover environment and ecological factors targeting the pollution of specific areas considering the total population size of each country.

Exploration of the significance of the Environment and ecology

Environment and ecology report refers to the relation between the physical, biological and chemical components. The ecology study has been oriented with relation to organisms and the environment. Here, the discussion explains different facts about the world air quality report 2020. Different subordinate questions and answers are explained in the section. The ultimate part narrates the ultimate understanding of the Environment. The air quality of the environment has been published by government agencies to raise awareness among the public about information of highly polluted cities because air pollution has become a serious cause for health hazard of people that is the reason for 7 million deaths. In this casualty report, around 600000 deaths are of children. The air quality data has become important to identify the areas which are mostly polluted and the reason behind it. Unfortunate incidents in 2020, wildfire, and strokes are reasons for global warming. That’s why ecology contains data regarding 106 countries where 98 countries’ data have been collected in 2019 and the rest 69 countries have been considered in 2018. The report has contained only PM2.5 data by organizing ground base data collection from stations. The station has been chosen for this report to explore environmental and ecology issues where pollution and population size data could be calculated easily. In the report, a remarkable change has come out that 65 percent of global cities have experienced improved air quality in 2019. According to this report, overall 84 percent of countries have faced air quality improvement.

Significance of the PM 2.5 in the World Air Quality Report

The air pollution survey has been conducted by scanning the percentage of harmful particles where PM 2.5 is most dangerous for the human body. These types of particles have the prevalence to choke the cardiovascular system. Most of the exposure of the PM 2.5 has to create a negative effect on the human body where an imbalance in the respiratory system and high mortality deaths of premature human beings (children’s). The microscopic size of air particulates which are 2.5-micron size are particles containing harmful components like carbon and nitrogen. This size of micron has been produced by carbon emission from motor vehicles, extreme heat generation by industries, and burning of biowaste. The PM 2.5 micron allows harmful particles to be absorbed in the main blood flow by inhaling activity that causes serious issues such as asthma, heart attack, and lung cancer.

Describes the relation between the world air quality index and the COVID-19?

The relation between COVID 19 and air pollution has shown a specific correlation where Covid 19 restriction has provided clean air to many cities. Industrial and human activities related to carbon emission become less due to government restrictions that influence the environment positively. Moreover, criminal extortion through industrial activity becomes less due to lockdown where less percentage of carbon and nitrogen provide fresh air worldwide. A major percentage of cities globally have experienced less PM 2.5 levels in 2020 than in 2019. It can be clearly understood that less industrial production and restricted human activity generate carbon production at a minimum level. The central agencies have conducted research on clean air in 2020 where they have found an unexpected change in air quality. For this reason, 65 percent of cities have experienced improved air quality and overall change at the global level provided that Covid 19 restriction is the major factor for improving world air quality. According to the world air quality report, Puerto Rico Island has the cleanest air published by IQAir.

Conclusion

It can be stated that air pollution is the reason for several deaths where proper restriction about the industrial and human activity would reduce carbon and nitrogen percentage. In the report, air quality improvement points out necessary activity to enhance air quality that means limited industrial production and using renewable energy rather than petrol and diesel. As per discussion, industrial activity influence has been explained before, so the government needs to make policies for restriction on carbon emission that would provide clean air in future.

Ans. Air pollution is becoming a serious issue globally where extreme global warming affects climate change. 4.2 million Average deaths have been recorded due to air pollution so, improvement of air quality is required for environmental safety. Through industrial activity around 76 percent of emission of carbon increases global warming worldwide. Moreover, agricultural burning has generated around 16 percent emission of nitrous oxide that boosts global warming. In addition, human activity has produced carbon dioxide around 4.6 metric tons on an average in a year. Industrial and human activity provides a major share in air pollution.

Ans. Government restriction for the COVID 19 has produced minimum carbon to the environment shows the major percentage of cities have experienced clear air in 2020. Industrial production activity has been stopped for lack of a workforce that reduces the production of harmful particles.

Ans. Air quality report has shown major reasons for air pollution where COVID 19 restriction has played a vital role in the improvement of air quality. This air quality report has indicated that restrictions are required for environmental development.
