National Mission on Sustainable Habitat

Conspicuous features of the National mission of sustainable habitat include augmented energy management, water contrivance management system, urban downpour management, recycling wastes, and better urban development.

According to NAPPC extenuation strategy, the national mission of sustainable habitat is ranked eighth of the entire climatic missions of the superintendence of India. Well, the superintendent’s mission of sustainable habitat includes certain conspicuous features like augmented energy management, water contrivance management system, urban, downpour management, recycling and reusing wastes, and betterment of urban development. The main objective of the national mission of sustainable habitat of India is to increase usage of secondary energy sources, development of urban organizations, and increase global economy.

  1. Environment and Ecology 

3.1. National mission of sustainable habitat of uncivilized organisms. 

An increase of plantation of green trees and decrease of cutting out plant resources must be done to increase the national mission of sustainable habitat of uncivilized organisms. Greenhouse gases are readily increasing in the atmosphere due to excessive cutting of green trees and plants. An increase in carbon emissions and GHG in the atmosphere is the main cause of environmental pollution and dilatation which is further creating a threat to uncivilised organisms including all plants, animals and other organisms of the ecosystem. To decrease the emissions of GHG, decarbonisation techniques must be implemented in all organisations and factories which is a direct cause of increased emissions of carbon in the environment. Moreover, transportation also amends the increase of environmental pollution. Therefore usage of vehicles running with petrol, diesel or any other combustible fuel must be stopped to reduce emissions of carbon in the environment. Moreover, implementation of electric vehicles must be replaced with vehicles running with polluting emission-able resources for betterment of the environment. Furthermore, replacement of usage of primary energy resources with secondary resources can lead to betterment of the national mission of sustainable habitat. Using alternative fuels, augmentation energy management of building codes and reusing and recycling waste products can lead to better sustainable habitat for the environmental ecosystem.

3.2. National mission of sustainable habitat of civilised organisms

For the betterment of sustainable habitat of civilised organisms of environmental ecosystems certain conspicuous features must be implemented in the national mission of sustainable habitat. One of the outstanding features of the national mission of sustainable habitat is water contrivance management and improving water accumulation management. Moreover, proper administration of waste products must be inculcated in the missions of national sustainable habitat. Recycling and reusing of the solid and liquid wastes products and proper implementation of power generation from the waste materials promotes improved missions of the sustainable habitat of the environmental ecosystem. Furthermore, better urban development includes long tenure transport facilities inculcating the increment of usage of public transport. 

Implementation of electric vehicles and increased public transport can promote betterment of national missions of sustainable habitat of the environmental ecosystem of India. To catapult research and development organisations in the country engrossed in biochemical reorganisation of waste product management and sewage implementation and opting for reusing and recycling waste products can lead to the betterment of the national missions of sustainable habitat of the environmental ecosystem of India. However, a lot of changes must be taken into consideration due to natural environmental disasters, procured environmental climatic changes, for the improvement of the national environmental ecosystem. Missions must be accomplished by the government of India to get habituated to the environmental changes.

3.3. Sustainable habitat mission India 

The conduit desideratum achievements of national missions of sustainable habitat of the environmental ecosystem include certain points which are listed as follows:

  • Advancement of sustainable habitats generates boisterous improvement strategies while concurrently acclimating to climatic changes.
  • Preparedness of city unfolding plans which assiduously refers to transformation and reduction concerns.
  • Preparedness of assiduous transportability plans which empowers states to commence long tenure, energy accomplished and cost intuitive transport strategies.
  • Accommodation of buildings for venturing activities admissible to the missions.

In the past few years, there were no policies and strategies undertaken for the betterment of the national missions of sustainable habitat of the ecosystem. Targeted missions like “Swachh Bharat Mission, Atal Mission on Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT)”, Urban Transport Programme, and Smart Cities Mission must be implemented to promote nationalism on sustainable habitat of the environmental ecosystem.

The study has noted and mentioned the main objective of national missions on sustainable habitat of the environmental ecosystem. Also, this assignment has arisen questions on the key elements of the national missions on sustainable habitat and has concluded its answer. Furthermore, this study has acknowledged the conspicuous features of national missions on sustainable habitat of the environmental ecosystem of India followed by the discussion on how the missions have helped to make India green.
