Creating and building sustainability in the environment and ecology is an important way to protect Mother Nature. Animals, plants and microorganisms are interdependent on each other and each is dependent on the environment. In simpler words, the abiotic and biotic components, which form the base of nature, are interdependent on each other for survival and existence. The growing environmental issues including global warming, deforestation and other broader issues are creating a hindrance to the sustainability of the environment. The global performance index provides ranking and policies of improvement for the countries focusing on the sustainability created in the countries. This brings insight into the position of ecology and environment in different countries worldwide and focuses on the country that needs to improve the conditions.

Environment and Ecology

Environment and ecology form the basic components of nature that study the interaction of the environment with the different components along with the relationship of the organism with them. In general, the environment sums up the three basic components and their interaction, namely, physical, chemical and biological components. Ecology on the other side refers to the relationship of the organism with nature and interdependence. The food chain and food web form the part of ecological culture showing the dependence and interdependence of the environment within the organism. Ecology also studies the process along with adaptation and biodiversity to understand nature more appropriately.

Environment and ecology are interdependent as environmentalism is the movement of concern along with its protection. The protection of the environment and saving it from further destruction has become a recent issue. Ecology, on the other hand, studies how all the components of the environment are interrelated. Ecology and environment are connected as the former are dependent on the latter because this is how the concerns are gathered about knowing the relationship. A number of efforts like afforestation, reducing the use of plastic bags by different Non-profit organizations (NGOs) has been initiated for the cause.

Environment performance Index

The environment performance index analyzes the sustainability of the ecology and environment. It provides a summary that is data-driven, about the sustainability of the world. It is based on different categories to analyze the environmental conditions based on different factors. It also provides a rank to different nations, states and districts. Recently, on June 22, India scored 168th position in measuring the environmental performance index of 18 countries. Denmark, in the same index, performed well with a score of 82.5, securing the first position. The environment performance index is calculated on several core environmental categories like pollution, along with the measures for the country to create and bring sustainability.

The Environmental performance index also brings the feeling of competitiveness within the country or district, whichever basis is calculated. However, this competitive ideology is better as it brings a sense of protecting the environment with the reduction of pollutants and beautifying Mother Nature. The environment performance index is important as it highlights the necessary laggards to improve the performance providing practical guidance to countries around the globe. It also provides a way to sort problems along with setting targets, understanding outcomes and identifying the best policies and procedures.

The Environment performance index sets targets and trends identifying the best policies and procedures. The data is collected with the help of the government officials offering a powerful policy in support to meet the targets of Sustainability goals. It also focuses on working for a better and sustainable future helping the countries with environmental challenges. It also analyses the performance by issue category, peer group and policy objective, offering a greater value to the policymakers.

Global environment performance index

Global performance index refers to the global metrics of the environment that displays the rank for different countries according to their performance ecologically. It is a measure in global terms that usually focuses on the high-priority issues of the environment. Along with the report, it also focuses on the areas to improve the environmental condition and lay an innovative key along with various measures of the environment. It also depicts the human health metrics that capture the risks of health across all ages and genders. Global performance index also focuses and provides information on the mortality rates of different countries also forming sustainability in agriculture using the indicators for development.

 Conclusion

Environment sums up the entire nature with the organisms that live in it and their interdependence. The point of interdependence also focuses on the point that it is important to save the environment to provide endurance and sustainability promoting better and healthy living conditions. Many diseases like seizures, behavioral disorders and memory problems are also caused by environmental illness. Saving the environment highlights the living standards and helps to improve it with time. The necessary changes in the environment are necessary to create a healthy atmosphere. It also includes the saving of animals and other organisms from being extinct as they too are equally important in keeping Mother Nature clean and sustainable.
