Growth: –

Growth is a kind of process where something is getting bigger, called growth. It is a quantitative process. Increasing size in the organism or increasing the number of staff in an organisation is called growth. Changing the scale or size of the economy is often called growth. If a national output is increased from 1billion to 2 billion, that means the economy of that particular society expands, also called growth. There are so many types of growth in different fields. Those are Bottom-line Growth; when a company’s income percentage is less than all expenses, these types of growth will work to increase the revenue and reduce the cost. Next is Economic Growth. Here, the growth indicated that the domestic products or services measured the economic activities. Exponential growth starts very slowly, but suddenly it jumps in a high range of growth. Along with that, some business growth classification is Rapid growth; it is a kind of operational growth that provides marketing growth by achieving organisational objectives properly.

Development: –

Development means huge growth with some qualitative changes. It is a kind of qualitative and quantitative change. It also increases the capability of employees under an organisation to manage the good condition to live, achieving that organisation’s goals.

The difference between growth vs. development are-

Economic growth refers to the nation’s financial growth within a particular period.

It refers to the overall development which improves the quality of the products or services.

It is a very small concept.

On the other hand, development is a broad concept for economic growth.

It is a single-dimensional concept.

It is a multidimensional concept.

It is a kind of stable change

It is very much spontaneous.

It increases the rate of GDP.

It increases the rate of living standards.

Here, some ideas about population growth will be discussed. The population is a prime topic nowadays. Developed and developing countries have faced these issues recently.

Population growth: –

Population growth is denoted as the increasing birth rate. Globally the rate of population growth is near about 83 million annually. The rate of population increased to 1 billion in the year 1800 approx to 7.9 billion in recent years. According to the world population, population growth will be 8.4 billion by 2030 instead of 7.9 billion. Wherever in developing countries, population growth will be 1.2 billion, but in developed countries, the rate of population growth will be 41 million. Here the basic difference between population growth in developed countries vs developing countries has shown. Along with that, some basic differences are discussed below-

Here the population is distributed by all age categories.

Here in the developing country, the population is distributed by lower age categories.

In order to know the difference between green growth and sustainable development, green growth will first be discussed.

Green growth: –

Primarily, green growth is not an alternative to sustainable development. Green growth is a kind of economic growth and development while the rate of carbon emission has reduced and sustainability has increased. Some objectives of green growth are increasing productivity by using natural resources; people should start some new markets where people can get green goods, services and technologies.

Sustainable development: –

 It focuses on society. It is a kind of development that meets the current requirements. It always searches for some betterment in the present and the future. 

Conclusion

The growth and development are internally related. However, growth is a short term process wherever development takes more time than growth. But here, depending on the growth, the development has occurred. Growth and development occur in society, economy, politics, and among human beings. In people’s lives, there are four growth stages: infancy, childhood, juvenile, and adolescence. In this case of development, people go through two different development stages. Those are physical development and psychomotor development. There are so many different types of growth and development processes all over the world.
