Poverty and inequality

Poverty is defined as a state where the person is unable to get the wanted resources for their little income. Inequality is a state where there is an unequal distribution or unjust distribution of the opportunities and sources in the members of the society. There are several causes that result in inequality among the people, they are; Family influence, inheritance, Differences in natural qualities, Lack of opportunity and some others. Those two phenomena are interrelated and affect each other. The poor person of the society is facing negative social stereotypes, discrimination which reduced their opportunities in the society and employment process.

On the other hand, reduction in the opportunities and recused political support resulted in inequality in the society. In the previous research that is seen when income inequality is higher the poverty rate is also high. That report suggested increased income inequality in the people increased the level of poverty in the society. Besides this lack of education, health service, housing, safe work conditions and basic sanitation are resulting in poverty. The poor people are suffering unequal treatment or distribution in society which reduces the social level.

Economy and planning

The economic level of the people is the main cause of poverty and the lack of planning process resulted in inequality. Unequal distribution of the economy is causing poverty and there is less planning. Effective planning processes help society to reduce poverty. Appropriate planning processes help to reduce the global issue of poverty and help the countries which are weak in the economic system. Useful allocation of resources and equal distribution may help to reduce poverty in economically weak countries. Growth in the economic system and equal distribution of the economy help the countries to overcome the poverty situation. The planning process is developed in the cooperative and non-government sectors besides the government to support equality.

Poverty is increased due to increased inequality in the society and this hampers the economic growth of the society. Inequality and poverty are interrelated and both affect the economy and growth of the economy in the society. Planning helps in the economic development process, creation of effective and strong goals and maintaining those may help the society to increase the economic level. Economic planning is very important to overcome inequality and poverty in society. This helps to provide guidance and improve the utilisation of resources and give the motivation to improve work.
