Vision and Mission Of Polity

Vision and mission statement both are very crucial for the organisation in directing the organisational goals. An identifiable entity of politics is known as polity and it has specific vision and mission. Vision statement deals with the future goal whereas the mission statement deals with today's strategy by which the organisation can achieve that future goal.

“Institutionalised social relations” form the polity. Resource mobilisation is done through polity which is actually a group. The future strategy and where the organisation wants to be in future is reflected through the company’s vision statement whereas the mission statement reflects the strategies in which manner those future visions can be achieved by having a strong mission. In this report, evaluation of vision and mission statement with its enormous benefits has been discussed. Significance of Mission and vision statement

There are certain vision and mission of polity within a country. The mission statement is helpful for communicating the main purpose of the organisation and it gives the direction in which way the desired vision of the organisation can be achieved. Therefore from the angle of making strong decisions, having a strong mission statement within the organisation is very significant. The vision statement acts as a guide which ensures that all the decisions which are taken by mission statement are properly linked with what the organisation desires to achieve. Therefore it can be found that mission and vision statements are complementary to each other. Complementary means one cannot be done without the other. The vision statement is found to deliver insights into what the organisation hopes to become or achieve in the near future. The vision statement is found as a set of future goals which are regarded as the vision for tomorrow. It is very significant to have a strong vision for the future to bring the organisation to the top position. The vision statement reflects the future desire of the organisation. Therefore it can be said that in order to achieve the desired goals, having a strong mission and vision is very important for the organisation. In order to keep focus with the organisational objective, it is very impotent for the organisation to have a strong vision. The main goal or purpose of the mission statement is to reflect or communicate the main purpose of existence of the organisation. Polity helps organisations to reach the mentioned goals that are necessary for the organisations. The mission statement is also helpful for directing organisational employees, stakeholders, customers and other vendors. For the organisation’s employees, an effective and strong mission statement acts as the “sense of identity”. The vision statement reflects the long term goal of the organisation whereas the mission statement talks about the strategy in which manner those long term goals can be achieved.

There are myriad benefits of having a strong and effective mission and vision strategy. A strong mission statement can help to boost up the morale of an organisation’s employees. Positive aspects of doing daily organisational activities are ensured through the strong mission statement. Therefore an effective and strong mission can also be supportive to give employee motivation as well and it can improve polity structure as well. Employees can be able to understand the purpose and meaning of their work as a clear mission statement delivers a clear understanding about the job benefits and serves towards the larger goal. Around the culture of the workplace, a strong mission is helpful to build “long time employee investment”.  It can be noticed that a strong mission can be very much impactful for the employee variable. 

It can be observed that a potential mission and vision statement can impact employees from the employee morale boost up to employee motivation as well as employee engagement. In addition, several other benefits can be found by the vision as well as a mission statement. Direction of the organisation can be effectively communicated through a strong organisational mission. Day-to-day decisions regarding the organisational operations can be made through the organisational vision and mission. Organisation can be kept in focus and on the track by setting a strong vision and mission for the business. Therefore, it is supportive to get potential investment for the organisation which is eventually beneficial for the growth of the business.
