HIV

The term HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is a dangerous virus that can attack the immune system of the human body. In case the virus is not treated properly then it can also lead to the other dangerous syndrome AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome).

Introduction

The term medical microbiology is one of the large subsets of microbiology and that always applied to medicine. Moreover, it is also a branch of medical science and it is connected with the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of some dangerous infectious diseases. HIV viruses attack the human immune system and develop some chronic diseases in the human body. The symptoms of HIV may last for several weeks or a few days, moreover the overtime of HIV weakness also affects the immune system and it also has a hard time-fighting disease. However, this study discusses the relevant clauses of this dangerous virus HIV, symptoms, and stages. This study also evaluates the difference between HIV and AIDS.

HIV

  • Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a very dangerous virus and it can attack the immune system of the human body it also increases the risk of AIDS in case the treatment is not done properly
  • The HIV virus has not any type of effective cure; in case a person has HIV then the person has had the virus for a long time
  • However proper medical treatment, healthy life, and care can control the effectiveness of this virus and people can live long

Evaluating the causes of HIV

HIV is caused by a dangerous virus and it also leads people to become AIDS. Moreover, this virus also destroys the human body cells CD4 T. Below discuss some effective causes of this virus, such as

  • By sharing needles: sharing contaminated needles is the most common cause of this infection, contaminated IV needles and drug paraphernalia can put a person at a high risk of HIV. Moreover, it also leads to some other dangerous infectious diseases
  • Blood transfusion: the virus also came through the process of blood transfusion in the human body. In the case of any person donating the blood then the virus may be transmitted in the blood through the human body. That is the reason now most blood banks supply antibodies to mitigate the risk
  • During pregnancy or breastfeeding: in case the mother has positive the virus then it can pass through breastfeeding to their babies. Moreover, in case an infected mother gets the treatment during the pregnancy then also the baby gets affected

Analyse the symptoms of HIV

The symptoms of the virus HIV and AIDS depend on different phases for spreading infection such as.

  • Primary infection: the primary infection of HIV is referred to as flu disease and illness within one to three weeks after HIV enters the human body. Moreover, this type of illness is also known as actual HIV and the possible symptoms of this disease include headache, rash, normal temperature, joint pain, muscle aches, weight loss. Painful mouth sores and sore throat. These types of symptoms are so mild that most people do not even notice
  • Latent clinical infection: this type of infection is also known as chronic HIV the reason is this stage of infection can reduce the white blood cells in the body. That is the reason people lose their immune system and it also develops other chronic diseases
  • Symptomatic infection of HIV: the virus continues to multiply its cells and it also destroys the body cells and reduces the immune system. Moreover, it also develops chronic diseases such as oral yeast infection, pneumonia, and fatigue
  • Progression to AIDS: untreated HIV is turned into the other chronic syndrome AIDS and develops more infectious disease such as. Fever, weakness, skin rashes, unusual lesions in the mouth is the common symptoms

Determine the stages of HIV

Stage 1: The actual HIV infection: In this stage people have a huge risk of the spread of HIV virus infection in the body and blood cells. Moreover, this stage is also very contagious for them and they also suffer from flu infections such as fever, weakness, and muscle pain. However, some people also do not feel sick at all.

Stage 2: Chronic infection of HIV: In this stage of infection most white blood cells is destroyed. In this stage, HIV develops very actively and people are facing some chronic disease and getting sick. CD4 T cell counts are becoming very low and the virus level increases in the human body.

Stage 3: AIDS: this stage is the most severe stage of an infected person. The reason is AIDS damages most body cells and reduces the immune system of the human body. In this stage, people have a high viral fever and the CD4T cell count drops below 200.

Difference between HIV and AIDS

  • HIV is a virus the virus has a low risk of infection and is the agent of small infectious diseases that can take the control of blood cells. On the other hand, AIDS has a huge risk of reducing blood cells and the syndrome is connected with some chronic symptoms
  • The first stage of HIV has the initial period of some illness and the virus affects within two or three weeks after entering a human body. On the other hand, AIDS affects the human body after the huge spread of HIV cells in the body and it develops some other chronic disease

    Conclusion

From the above discussion, it can be concluded that HIV and AIDS have a huge risk and it can reduce the immune system of the human body. Moreover, this study also concludes that the active stage of HIV can reduce white blood cells and the CD4T cell count. It also develops many dangerous chronic diseases in the human body such as fever, muscle pain, weakness.
