The male literacy in Kerala during the periods of 2001 – 2011 grew from 94% to 97%. Similarly, female literacy grew from 87% to 94% during the same period. That would probably be the finest way to describe the definition of health and education.

The best way to solve this issue in the state would be to ensure that health care is enhanced. This way, both the private and the public sectors complement each other in quality healthcare services.

They are newly established. State health authorities want to have more than 700 of them throughout the state. These family health centres play a significant role in ensuring that the health of the citizens in and around the region is good.

Every family health centre has 3 doctors, 4 nurses, 1 dentist, 1 pharmacist, and 1 lab technician. While the medicines and consultations are free, the laboratory services come for a small fee. There are outpatient waiting areas, laboratories, children’s indoor playing areas, etc.
