Durga Puja is one of the biggest national events of India and is mainly celebrated in the West Bengal State among the Bengalees with great joy and devotion.

The whole world respects the country for its cultural and national values and the way they celebrate the events makes the culture more unique and beautiful than other nations. All the events have different stories that are related to Indian culture and the Indian people respect the significance of the story and maintain the cultural value of the events.

Discussion on cultural events in India

The world is full of diversified cultures and religions that have different cultural and religious values. India has one of the most diversified cultures and is known for its dedication towards culture and creates huge importance in the world. The languages, foods, lovely places to travel to, and their culture make a huge impact on the world’s environment. Every region has a different way to celebrate a particular cultural event and different researchers across the world come to this country to cover the diversity of the nation and its events.

Even though there is much research going over Indian culture, it is found that it is the most diversified country in terms of culture and events whether an event is a national event or a regional event or it is significant for both national and regional purposes. For example, entering “UNESCO’s Intangible Heritage List ” Durga Puja has proved it is not only a national event but also has importance all over the world.

Relationship between the events and the Indian Culture

There is a strong relationship between the Indian culture and these events because every “national and regional event’ ‘ has a different story behind it which directly links the culture of the country. For example, Ramnavami is a famous regional event that is celebrated every year full of gaiety to celebrate the birth of Lord Vishnu’s seventh avatar Lord Ram. This relates Indian culture with this event that increases the value of the event by linking the history and tradition of the country.

People’s perception about “regional and national events”

People think that Indians are very particular about their national and regional events as their culture is directly linked with the events. They will never let the culture down in any perspective because Indians are extremely culture-oriented and they never forget to celebrate all the events with dedication and joy. Each community has different types of regional festivals which are part of India’s national festival.

Events in India whether it is national or regional are equally important for all over the world as there are very few countries that celebrate so many events in their countries with different cultures. Different festivals of the country like Holi, Diwali, or Durga puja of Navratri are the most important “regional and national festivals” that makes the country more colourful and diversified yet there is “unity with diversity” among the Indian people that make their bond so strong and linked them together when it comes to the country’s culture and history.
