Philosophy

Philosophy talks about the existence and nonexistence of something side by side and can explain it through the six senses of people. Every word in nature can have its unique meaning and no word is the same, however, the origin of the word can be the same. A portion of philosophy talks about the ethical behaviour of people, what should be done or what should not be done guides humans mere living on the earth.  Even, the knowledge of good and bad has its understanding in the philosophy based on which people should act.

Philosophy meaning

Philosophy has been derived from the integration of two words namely “Philein” and “Sophia” that means one who finds joy in getting wisdom. Therefore, Philosophy means finding wisdom through knowledge. The meaning of philosophy in a broad sense gives ideas about its origin, fundamental basics and underlying truths of any existing thing on the earth. Everything in the world has a philosophy on which its idea is based. It also deals with the gradual evolution of any concept or word, and its relation with other existing things. The study of philosophy entails asking several basic questions to get answers. In metaphysics, philosophy’s existence is related to the consciousness in nature’s underlying principle, meaning that anything that happens is caused by nature’s will.  Epistemology on the other hand, provides justification to every order of questions and categorises it to be true or false in terms of justification. It explains that philosophy is knowledge and awareness growing of any topic through human senses.

Philosophy’s translation in Hindi is termed as “Darshan” meaning a belief in something and that belief comes from the underlying knowledge of a person. In Hindi, philosophy takes dive into the eastern philosophy or Indian philosophy that means the origination of knowledge. Indian society is completely based on Hindi philosophy and evolves through ages of philosophers putting their information in time. Darshan means understanding through observation, what people perceive on a daily basis forms the foundation of their knowledge. People do their work and live life based on the truth that they perceive in nature and their cognition builds upon it. Darshan also believes that everything that is visible in nature has its cause and is proven. For instance, the negative thoughts or unavailability of something can be also expressed through logic. Indian Darshan has various schools of thought such as Buddhist, Nyaya philosophy and many others that find meaning of philosophy in the teachings of famous sages or philosophers.
