Disadvantages of PowerPoint are-
1) Not 100% effective
Most of the time one will be able to make a good presentation and keep their audience captivated, but that may not be the case every time. The owner may find something amusing and interesting in his ppt that may come to be as interesting to some audiences. One might find a ppt too colourful with too many pictures or too many texts and fewer pictures and graphs.
2) Old technology
Not all devices are fully compatible with every version. So one might even face issues while sharing their ppt and it might have compatible issues on other systems.
3) Paid
The basic version is free but you might have to get a paid version to fully utilise the true potential of PowerPoint. The price also depends on the home and the office version which might be a little hectic.

Powerpoint background images
Powerpoint background images are the background images to the slides which you can choose to customise your presentation and make it more colourful. You can just choose any image you want from your computer as a background image on one or more slides as per your wish. All you have to do is-
1) Open the slide you want to add the background to
2) In design> format background.
3) Select the picture you want to set at the background in the format background
4) Select the picture from your device
5) Then choose insert.
You can also right-click on the slide you want to add the background to and select the “format background” option. Then “edit” option and choose the file you want to add to the background.
Motion path in PowerPoint
A motion path is one more option provided by PowerPoint to make your presentation more appealing. When you apply a motion path to certain characters or words or images, they move in a certain way every time you present it. There are mainly 6 types of motion paths, they are lines, arcs, custom paths, loops, turns and shapes.
To add motion to your text or image all you have to do is-
1) Select the image or text
2) In the “animations” tab, select the “add animations” option
3) There are 6 options to pick from.
One can select the custom path to make a pattern of their own however one desires.
