Preschool Education

Pre-school education is basically a phase of the preliminary education for the specific age group of children such as “3-6 years of age”.

In this specific process, the overall educational standards of the pre-school have been described in a brief manner. The overall process comprises some effective understanding based on the pre-school personnel, child-rearing practices of the partners, understanding of some types and objectives of this education. Several types of the early childhood curriculum have also been discussed in this process. This process also comprises an effective understanding of the preschool process that helps to shape the future of a child. 

Objectives 

This process has several objectives regarding pre-school education, such as:

  • To ensure effective mental and physical development in children
  • To prepare the children from the primary education and learning
  • To develop the habit of learning in the preschool children

Pre-school personnel

This type of school is often termed nursery school or playschool. In order to discuss the pre-school personnel, it is observed that there is one head in the overall hierarchical process under this hierarchy several other professional trainers like the nursery teachers, play teachers are helped in order to grow the mental state of a child.

  • “Building centre”

These centre’s help to grow their social skills by learning self-regulation habits on their own. These schools will allow them to make mistakes so that they can learn from their mistakes in the early days. These pre-schools also help them to extend their learning behaviour by gathering new skills. 

Pre-school records

It is very important to keep aside the record of the “pre-school” for future reference. It is required to keep the grades of the students, some of the achievement skills, and also some of the extracurricular records in safe custody for further processes. 

Types of early childhood curriculum

It is the responsibility of all educators to develop the overall curriculum based on effective theoretical frameworks. There should also be the provision of getting the opportunities to learn for the future. Some specific types of the early-childhood curriculum are:

  • An interactive approach based on the “Bank Street developmental”

It is observed that when the educators take the valid and effective curriculum in the overall process then only the effectiveness of enhancing the potential of the associated children will come out for the future processes. 

Child-rearing practices of parents

“Child-rearing practice” is a specific process to raise the children in a specific family, cultural and societal approach. Thus, it comprises nine effective steps:

  • Spend some quality time with the children
  • To boost the self-esteem of the children
  • Try to set the limits in order to be consistent in all the matters
  • Try to guide the children in such a way that they will learn from their parents
  • Develop the overall communication process to be on the priority list
  • Develop some flexible parenting style
  • Knowing the limitations and needs in order to become an effective parental approach
  • Provide unconditional love to the children
  • Catch the kids of doing the goods

It is important to provide unconditional love to the children so that they can grow in a lovable atmosphere. This process will help them in order to grow their mental and physical well-being in an effective form. In most cases, it is observed that parents are the role model of a child in the early days. Thus, it is required to take some flexible approach in the parental styles so that children will communicate with their parents wholeheartedly. It is also required to spend some quality time with the children on a regular basis. 

Conclusion

It can be said that pre-school education also refers to the early childhood educational systems of the informal as well as the formal teaching methods of certain age groups of the children until the age of eight. The overall formation of this kind of program has been designed in such a way that it will help the children for their future period of learning. This kind of school also helps to grow the mental state of mind of the children by taking proper care of them. This process also enhances the overall communication skills of the children to talk to others.
