Brassinosteroids are a plant steroid hormone similar to the structure of animal steroid hormones. It is a part of the Phyto organ's development and growth in biochemistry.

BRs or Brassinosteroids are the class or type of polyhydroxylated steroidal phytohormones in plants. It has a similar structure to steroid hormones of animals. Brassinosteroids are used to process the wide range of hormones in plants that help develop, grow and immune the structure to plants.

Mostly Brassinosteroids are found in the higher or lower ranges of plants. This is a type of hormone that promotes growth in plants. This hormone is also known as the immune hormone that stabilizes the metabolizing effect in plants to fight against viruses, bacterial, fungal, or any pathogenic interaction.

The A/B ring is made of two hydroxyl groups. 6-ketone or 7- oxa -6 – ketone at ring A and B systems are required to activate the BRs.   the chemical structure of this component is, ” (22R, 23R, 24S)-2a, 3a, 22, 23- tetrahydroxy -24- methyl – B-homo -7- oxa -5a- cholestan -6-one” .In BRs structure, along with this chemical component, fatty acids and sugar are also found, acting as inactive properties in BR metabolism.

This hormone is mostly found in lower division and very higher vision of plants. Various plants species like freshwater algae, this hormone has been found. Along with that, the distribution of this hormone differs from the distinct tissue as per their species. The highest content of 1 to 100ng/ g fw is found in immature roots, seeds, flowers, but leaves and shoots have lower content from 0.01 to 0.1 ng / g FW.

Bioassay is a process or method used to utilize living materials to identify the potential toxicity of a substance. It determines the toxicity of contaminating or chemical matrices. They are mostly used to determine the hazardous chemicals present in the soil, wastewater, potable water, material, or foods. It is an important part of toxicology, a study of the determination of toxicity on different materials and their effect on the environment or different organisms.

The basic purpose of bioassay is to determine the toxic objects of the environment and materials that cause toxicity in the natural level of the atmosphere. The process of toxicity test substance depends on two factors: the used concentration and the system of the test. It is required for any normal; development of plants, and it is available in flowers, roots, seeds, pollen, leaves, shoots, etc.

In higher plants, this is required for riot growth, stem growth, flower growth, floral initiation, etc. In addition, BR responds to abiotic stress; it has been seen much in higher region plants. These hormones are also effective in fighting against pathogenic infections and bioptic stress. Therefore, Brassinosteroid’s function on plant growth and development is important in plants’ higher and lower classification. It promotes cell division cell expansion and plays a vital role in the reproduction and etiolating of plants.
