Eligibility Criteria

The recruiting commission has set various eligibility criteria for appearing candidates.
For the post of receptionist cum telephone operator the criteria are:

Age Limit

• The age of the candidate should be 18-36 years as of 1st January of the year
• The candidates applying also have an age relaxation for some years based on their reservation. For SC/ST there is an age relaxation of 5 years and for OBC it is 3 years

Educational Qualification

• The candidate must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution in any field
• The candidate must be fluent in Malayalam and be able to comprehend, read, write, and speak it
• Six months of experience is required in any government-owned company or corporation operating telephone lines. Or he/she should hold a valid certificate in PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) operation which should be issued by the P&T (Post and Telegraph) department of India
• For general category applicants, an aggregate score of 50% is required, and for ST/SC/OBC applicants, a score of 45 percent is required

Nationality

• The candidate must have a legal address and proof when applying
• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen holding a permanent residence in Kerala
• The candidate must meet these criteria in failure of which his/her application may be rejected
