Receptionist Cum Telephone Operator

The job opening for Receptionist cum Telephone Operator is posted by Kerala State Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Where the work of the person is to attend the incoming and outgoing phone calls. Screen the calls and note down the accurate important messages. And also, the work is to handle the dispatch and incoming of documents and other materials to the company.

This is a degree level post that comes under Kerala PSC (Public Service Commission) along with many other posts in this field. Candidates who wish to work for the government in Kerala as a receptionist and telephone operator can fill in the exam details from the Kerala PSC website and get shortlisted in the results. As this exam is a degree level state examination, therefore it is a must for a candidate to be graduated from any recognized university. Also, there are separate reservation criteria for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

The salary for the person operating the telephone/receptionist post is eligible for a pay scale of INR 6680/- to 10790/- per month depending on his/her experience and results. Vacancies are however very less for this post. And the exam is being held in February every year.

The candidate who is selected for this post is first on his/her probation period of one year within a continuous period of two years.

The announcement for the Kerala PSC 2022 examination has yet to be released. For almost all of the year, the eligibility standards stay the same. Any modifications will be communicated after the official notification is published on the official website.

Process of Application

• For the application process, the candidate has to first register himself/herself on the Kerala PSC website and enter his/her correct personal details along with a recently taken passport-type photograph. This registration is a One-Time Registration.
• After successful registration, he/she is provided with a username which the person should note and create a password
• Post which, the candidate should log in with his/her user ID and Password and go to apply now and choose the Receptionist Cum Telephone Operator option for this post. Which will lead to a form which he/she should fill out carefully
• When the form is filled, the candidate should upload relevant ID proof such as Adhaar Card details and any other government ID proof for verification purposes
• The candidate has successfully applied for the post. Any notification regarding the examination will be mailed or updated on the website. And also, he/she should print out a hard copy of the application form.

Points to be taken care of during registration

•  The application should be submitted through the Kerala PSC website only. And is submitted through other means it will be rejected
• Before applying the candidate should do a one-time registration on the Kerala PSC portal and apply for this exam
• During the one-time registration, the candidate must enter their correct personal details such as Name, Address, Date of Birth, Official Address, etc. And must upload a recent 1-year time frame taken a photo of their own.

• The candidate is responsible for his/her details entered. And before applying for the test, candidates shall re-check their details for any correction
• The exam will be conducted in OMR form. Candidates have to darken the correct answer as per the update from 2013
• There is no application fee for the examination
• Any electronic gadget like mobile phone, digital watches, pager, calculator, etc. is prohibited inside the examination hall and if found, his/her shall be marked as disqualified
