Every year, the Kerala government conducts the KPSC exam, also known as the Kerala public service commission exams, these exams are conducted all over the state to recruit people to work for the state government directly. One such job profile offered by them after clearing the exam is Junior Manager (General) in Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.

Syllabus of the exam for the post of Junior Manager (General):

The syllabus includes 4 topics, namely:

1. Question-based on MBA.
2. Question-based on a special topic (Subject Related to the nature of the duty of post.
3. Questions based on English .
4. 2. How does it cater to the needs of the people of Kerala?
3. Role of SUPPLY CO and Civil Supplies Department.
4. Minimum Support Price (MSP).
5.  Pricing & Brands of SUPPLYCO. (Sabari Brand).
6. Area of activities of SUPPLYCO.
7. Tendering process in SUPPLYCO.                                                 Some of the topics that were included in this segment(English) were:

1. Infinitive and Gerunds.
2. Tenses.
3. Tenses in Conditional Sentences.
4. Prepositions.
5. Direct and Indirect Speech.
6.  Active and Passive voice.                                                              Some of the topics that were included in this segment(Regional Language) were:

1. Synonyms.
2. Antonyms.
3. Idioms and Proverbs.
4. Equivalent Word.
5. Feminine Gender, Masculine Gender .
6. Join the Word.
7. Adding Phrases.

What are the minimum marks required for passing the exam?

They are different for different categories. Below are the different and the minimum qualifying marks against them:

• General category: 50%
• SC/ST category: 40%

By qualifying for this exam, the candidates are eligible for the next round of examinations, i.e. the mains examinations.
