Final Merit List

The final merit list of the Kerala PSC Examination depends on the candidate’s performance in both the stages of the examination, i.e., the written examination and the Physical Efficiency tests. In the written test, there are 100 questions, each carrying one mark each with a deduction of ⅓ of the marks for every wrong answer. In a physical test, there will be eight topics divided into the male and female candidates with distinctive standard qualifications, out of which five topics need to be passed out. The final merit of the examination is released on the official website of Kerala PSC, which the candidates can check for their results.

How to check the results

The final result of the examination is released on the official website of Kerala PSC.
The following steps should be followed to check the results from the official website:

1. Open the official website of Kerala PSC.
2. Select the option “Results” from the toolbar of the home page.
3. After selecting the option, a drop-down menu will appear on the screen.
4. Select the “Short List” or “Ranked List” option from the drop-down menu.
5. After selecting the option, the candidate will be redirected to a page with a list of results of several recruitments. 
6. Candidates must search for the “Excise Inspector Trainee Results.” 
7. Candidates can check as well as download the result in PDF format.
