Exam Cut-Off for Excise Inspector Trainee Post

The official cutoffs for the examination will be released on the official website of Kerala PSC. Excise Inspector Trainee Examinations are conducted in two stages,  a written examination and a physical endurance test. The candidate must score equal to or more than the minimum qualification standards. The candidate will be called out for the physical endurance test once the written examination is cleared out.

The cut-off for the examination is calculated district-wise.

Factors affecting the Exam Cut-Off

Many factors affect the calculation of an examination cut-off. The most basic factors that affect the marks are:

  1. The number of the candidates filled out the form for the examination.
  2. The number of candidates that gave the examination.
  3. It also depends upon the difficulty level of the examination. 
  4. Cut-off marks are set according to the category reservation.

How to check the exam cut-off?

Examination cut-off marks can be checked on the official website. When these marks are officially released. These cut-off marks are summarised according to the category, i.e.,  general OBC, SC/ST.
The following steps must be followed to check the cut-off marks for the Exercise Inspector Trainee Examination from the official website:

  1. Check out the official website of Kerala PSC.
  2. Select the option termed “cut-off points” on the home page.
  3. After clicking the option, you will be redirected to a new page.
  4. Search and select the option, “KPSC excise inspector trainee cut off.”
  5. You will be redirected to a page with the list of cut-off marks category-wise.
  6. There will be a provision for downloading the PDF format of the cut-off marks.
