Exam Pattern and Syllabus for Divisional Accountant Post

The examination for divisional accountant examination is conducted in three phases. The three phases of the recruitment procedure are the online examinations, personal interview round and document verification procedure. 

Phase 1: Written Examinations

Phase 2: Personal Interview

Phase 3: Document Verification

The candidates have to write three papers in the first phase of the recruitment procedure, the pattern is as follows:

While preparing for the written exam, the candidates should follow the following syllabus:

  1. General Knowledge: For general knowledge, candidates should prepare geographical facts, history, society and arts, politics, science and technology and the latest current affairs.
  2. For the English language, pay attention to the grammar topics; nouns, tenses, verbs and so on. 
  3. For the writing section, learn report writing and analyse the correct/incorrect substances in the provided passage.
  4. For Elementary Book Keeping, follow the textbooks “The Students Complete Commercial Book Keeping, Accounting, and Banking” by Arthur Fieldhouse and “Advanced Accounts” by R.N. Carter.
  5. For mathematics, prepare the maths syllabus up to the matriculation level.
