Eligibility Criteria

The Kerala Public Services Commission has released the Eligibility Criteria for Candidates applying to the post of Confidential Assistant Grade- ll. The Eligibility criteria specify the appropriate age limit and obligatory educational qualifications. 

Age Limit 

The Kerala Public Services Commission has specified the appropriate age limit for the candidates applying for the post of Confidential Assistant.

• The age limit set by the Kerala PSC is from 18 to 36 years
• Candidates born between the years 1986 to 2004 of any caste, local caste and Backward Community are only eligible for the application of recruitment as a Confidential Assistant

Mandatory Educational Qualifications

The Kerala PSC has specified the minimum educational qualifications to be eligible for the recruitment as a Confidential Assistant. 

• The candidate must have cleared their plus 2 or its equivalent in any recognised board of education
• The candidate must possess a Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting in English (KGTE) and computer word processing or its respective equivalent
• The candidate is required to possess a Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting in Malayalam
• The candidate is required to possess a lower Grade Certificate in Shorthand English or its equivalent
• The candidate is required to possess a lower grade certificate in Shorthand Malayalam

Important Points 

• Certificates in Computer Word Processing granted by Central/State Government departments, Agencies, Societies, and Universities after successfully completing a three-month course of study are deemed equal to KGTE Computer Word Processing
• All the credentials obtained must be presented prior to the application deadline
• At the time of One Time Verification or as necessary by the Commission, those who claim identical qualifications must present the relevant Government Order to verify their claim
