The Kerala Public Service Commission was established by the Indian Constitution. The Commission advises the Government on all matters relating to civil services referred to it under Article 320 (3) of the Constitution, and publishes notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the appointing authorities’ requisitions, conducts written and/or practical tests, physical efficiency tests, and interviews prepare a ranked list based on the candidates’ performance and advise candidates for appointment strictly based on their performance. The Kerala Public Service Commission holds an examination to hire candidates for the position of Assistant Jailor. The position is part of the Department of Jails. Interested candidates should register for the Kerala PSC’s One-Time Registration on the official website. Those who have already registered can access their account by entering their Username and Password. Then, next to the relevant post, click the Apply Now option. There are no costs associated with the examination. Prior to downloading the hall ticket, the applicants must validate their identity. If an applicant fails to show up for the exam after receiving positive confirmation, their profile will be blocked.

The answer key to the exam of Assistant Jailor Gr I/ Superintendent held on 06.08.2019 has been uploaded on the official website of the Kerala PSC. In January 2019 the Government of Kerala published the results of an exam conducted for the post of Assistant Jailor GR I/Superintendent.
