KPSC (Kerala Public Service Commission)

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree/ Graduation in any subject from a recognized university or equivalent with an age limit of 18- 36 for General, 18- 39 for OBC and 18- 41 years for SC/ST candidates

Must be physically fit- 165 cm height (general category) 

160 cm height (SC/ST) 

81.3 cm Chest with 5 cm expansion

Candidates also have to clear physical efficiency tests and visual standards

Exam pattern 

Marks- 100 Marks

Questions- 100

Exam duration- 1 Hour 15 minutes

Syllabus

General Knowledge- History, Geography, Economics, India Constitution, Kerala, Life science and public health, Physics, Chemistry, Arts;

Current affairs; Simple Arithmetic, Mental ability and Reasoning; General English; Regional language; Special Topic (Subject related to post)

Language 

English and Malayalam 

Marking scheme

  1. There will be a total of 100 questions.
  2. Each question carries 1 mark.
  3. One mark will be granted for every correct answer.

Negative Marking

If you mark more than one answer or make alterations in the answer marked, there will be a negative marking for that question.

Each correct answer gives you 1 mark, but each wrong answer will lead to a negative marking of 1/3 mark.
