Exam Cut-Off for Assistant Jailor Gr I Exam

For the position of Assistant Jailor, the Kerala Public Service Commission conducts an examination. The position was created in the year 2018 and is part of the Department of Jails. All of the candidates are now waiting for the Kerala PSC Graduate Level Result 2022 to be released. The commission will then call the candidates who receive adequate marks for the Main test on the dates set by the commission.

Exam Pattern of the Assistant Jailor

This will be a 75-minute objective OMR-based test with a time limit. Candidates must respond to 100 questions. For each incorrect answer, a 1/3 mark will be deducted.

Age Criteria for the Post of Assistant Jailor

18-36 years old is the age limit. Moreover, the eligible candidates who match the government’s requirements can get a relaxation in the maximum age restriction.

Qualifications in Education

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a university that is recognized.

Details of the Test Conducted

A test for Graduate/Degree Level vacancies was held by the Kerala Public Service Commission. This test was held on the 30th of October and the 13th of November in 2021. Kerala PSC Graduate Level Result 2022 would be released very soon by the commission.

A month after the exam, the Kerala PSC Degree Level exam cut-off list is likely to be revealed. On the Kerala PSC’s official website, a different cut-off list is posted for each post. When the Kerala PSC Degree Level cut-off list is released, there is a procedure followed to find out the marks, which is as followed-

  • Go to the Kerala Public Service Commission’s official website
  • On the site, look for the ‘Result’ notification and click it
  • You’ll be taken to a new page with a complete list of cut-off marks for each post
  • Select the position for which you applied by clicking on it
  • The whole cut-off list would appear on your screen in PDF format, which you could save for future use

Cut-off List of the Exam

The Kerala PSC Degree Level Exam Result will be posted on the commission’s website along with the cut-off marks. To advance to the next round, candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks set by the commission. The number of openings and candidates, the difficulty level of the exam, and the top and lowest marks achieved by the candidates are all factors taken into account when determining Cut-Off marks (category-wise). 

Date of the Mains Exam

The merit list of candidates for the preliminary examinations for various degree-level positions will be released by the commission board. Only those candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be called to take the main exam. The commission board will soon publish a schedule for the event on their website. The merit list will include information such as the candidate’s name, performance score, and so on.

Conclusion

After all parts of the recruitment process have been completed, the candidates will be given all documentation. The Kerala Public Service Commission holds this test every year to attract applicants for positions that require graduation as a minimum educational requirement. This is the state’s most competitive test, and those who compete in it study for years in order to pass it and land a decent job in the Kerala Government Administration.
