Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Director of National Savings
It’s prestigious for a person to join the Kerala national savings service. It has an added attraction to candidates who like finance and management, and a cherry on the cake of being a secure government job. But who all are allowed to join the service? What makes a candidate eligible?
Kerala Public Service Commission Examinations
The major eligibility and the preliminary requisite to join this national service is qualifying in the Kerala public service commission examination. You can apply for the post only when you are a qualified candidate. You will have to pass the written examination and the interview.
Age Limit
The age limit which makes a candidate eligible for the job is 21-36. There is a relaxation of the age limit, and the upper limit is extended for weaker sections of society like scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, etc.
Educational Qualification
The candidate’s educational qualification must be that they must be a graduate in any of the disciplines prescribed by the Kerala public service commission and from a university approved by the university grants commission. The candidates must, without being said, also be eligible for public service examination, without which they won’t be able to join services, so eligibility for examination also must be seen on the portal of the Kerala public service commission.
If the candidate is not from India’s common or standard education board, the candidate must produce an equivalent educational qualification concerning the required preliminary requisites.
Proof of Residence and Identity
- The candidate must be a resident of India or an immigrant of Nepal, which is specified in the public service commission eligibility
- Candidates who have an Aadhaar card are supposed to produce the card or any equivalent identity to be eligible for the application
Physical Eligibility
Physical fitness and particular fitness levels are not considered for this service. Candidates with myopia or hyperopia may be well eligible for the service. People with disabilities are divided into categories, and for checking this eligibility criterion, one must follow the official document of the job opening.
