Before taking the exam, aspirants should be aware of the following aspects of the KTDC Stenographer exam:

The commission establishes the format for the stenographer’s competitive exam. Candidates taking the test should look at the details of this test to obtain a sense of what to expect. Objective questions will be asked in both Malayalam and Hindi during the exam. Aspirants will have two hours to finish the entire paper.

The syllabus for the desktop test is provided by the officials. Candidates should review the section-by-section subjects and prepare accordingly. Aspirants can learn about the topics by purchasing books or using online resources.

Registration Process for KTDC Stenographer Exam 2022

The first step is to register.

Candidates must register with relevant information such as their name, email address, date of birth,  and phone number. On successful registration, an enrollment number will be generated.

The second step is to complete the Application Form

Submit an application form with your personal, academic, and contact information. Aspirants will also be asked to select an exam centre option.

The third step is to upload the documents.

Aspirants must provide a signature and scanned photograph in accordance with the requirements.

Skill Test

Candidates must participate in the skill exam after the CBT results are announced. Officials administer this exam to determine the candidate’s speed. For the post of Stenographer Grade C, candidates would have 10 minutes to dictate in Hindi or English at a speed of 100 words per minute. Candidates applying for the position of Stenographer Grade D must be able to write 80 words per minute. The skill exam is conducted by personnel at the commission’s regional offices. Candidates that pass the skill exam will be considered provisionally for the position.
