Marking Scheme For Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC Exam 2022

Any candidate appearing for the Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC Exam 2022 must have an idea of the marking scheme before sitting in the exam. However, it is necessary to know the exam pattern first. Furthermore, it becomes easy to understand how Kerala PSC marks a paper and declares the result. 

Exam pattern for Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC Exam 2022 

The exam pattern for the Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC Exam 2022 is as follows: 

  • The examination will be conducted in a single stage
  • The examination will be of objective type with multiple-choice questions
  • The total mark allotted for the examination is 100
  • There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer
  • The duration of the examination will be two hours
  • The examination will be held in English medium
  • Paper-I will be of General Knowledge and Current Affairs
  • Paper-II will be of Aptitude and Mental Ability

Note: The questions in the examination will be based on the syllabus prescribed for the post of Office Assistant by Kerala PSC. 

Marking Scheme for Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC Exam 2022

The Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC Exam will be of objective type and will have 100 questions. Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking.

The questions will be based on the topics given below:

  • General Knowledge- 20 questions
  • Computer Knowledge- 20 questions
  • Kerala History and Culture- 15 questions
  • English Language- 15 questions
  • Mathematics- 05 question

Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC exam Negative Marking

The Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC exam takes part in three levels. A candidate is provided with three hours to fill-up an OMR sheet with his answers for level one. Each question holds 1 mark and negative marking is done on every wrong answer. Level 2, i.e., mails is a descriptive type. The Office Assistant (KTDC) Kerala PSC Mains Exam consists of three papers.

  • Paper 1 contains a hundred questions. They’re all objective sorts, and each one has two marks
