ABOUT INSPECTING ASSISTANT

The Kerala PSC, the official recruiting agency for the state of Kerala, India, offers Inspecting Assistant (Legal Metrology) posts. This new post is open to candidates having at least pass in 10+2 course or equivalent or SSLC or equivalent and holds a National Trade Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training or its equivalent.

ROLE OF INSPECTING ASSISTANT

The role of Inspecting Assistants (Legal Metrology) is to ensure the legal metrology used in trade and business across Kerala. They are also responsible for taking samples of commodities used in trade and business from time to time, testing them at designated laboratories and ascertaining that they conform to the standards specified for the commodities by relevant laws.
