Civil Excise Officer Cut-Off Marks

The Kerala Public Service Commission examines civil excise officers in Kerala. It takes place on two levels. The first one is the preliminary written exam conducted for the women’s civil excise officer position in Kerala on 26th February 2022. The cut-off for the same will be available shortly after announcing results on the official website. All the students must score above or equal the cut-off marks to qualify for the main examinations. It is not just important to score above the cut-off, but also the score should be high enough to take the candidate on the merit list. Cut-off scores are just enough to appear for the next step, but this does not apply in the case of main examinations.

Both the written examinations have their cut-off, which changes every year depending on the number of candidates applying and the difficulty level of the paper. Cut-off scores are released on the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in where candidates can check the cut-off and prepare for the physical examination if they qualify.

Civil excise officer works for the Kerala excise department. This department is responsible for imposing excise laws and enforcing them in Kerala. The major source of revenue is from the excise revenue itself. The position of excise officer in Kerala is significant and a highly coveted job. Every candidate needs to prepare well and maintain good physical health, as passing the written exam is just one step in selection. It is also compulsory to score well in the physical examination, after which the aggregate score is calculated, and the merit list is prepared.
