Marking Scheme of Village Field Assistant Examination – Kerala PSC
The Kerala PSC releases new vacancies in the state revenue department every year to accept applications for the position of a village field assistant. The examination hall ticket is accessible to all the aspirants who have passed the 10th standard and got the SSLC clearance. The examination pattern features objective-type questions with multiple choices of answers. The preliminary round has 100 marks where all the correct options are needed to be marked in an OMR answer script. The exam duration of this online test is 2 hours.

Examination Insights:
- Each question carries one mark
- A candidate can avoid negative marking if he decides not to answer any particular question where he’s not sure about the correct option. In that situation, that question’s marks will not be counted
- A negative marking of 1/3rd is levied if a candidate marks the wrong option for questions belonging to any section or subject
- Upon argument post-exam, if the Kerala Public Service Commission finds any particular question is out of the syllabus or includes all wrong options then the examinees are given full marks for that question
- The minimum passing mark is 40 out of 100
- The final rank is awarded after the final examination. The cut-off varies depending on the toughness of the paper and the number of candidates appearing for the examination
- A successful candidate is called for the interview followed by direct recruitment in the revenue department

വില്ലേജ് ഫീൽഡ് അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് തസ്തികയിലേക്കുള്ള അപേക്ഷകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതിനായി കേരള പി.എസ്.സി. എല്ലാ വർഷവും സംസ്ഥാന റവന്യൂ വകുപ്പിൽ പുതിയ ഒഴിവുകൾ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു. പത്താം തരം പാസായ എസ്.എസ്.എൽ.സി. ക്ലിയറൻസ് നേടിയ എല്ലാ ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികൾക്കും പരീക്ഷാ ഹാൾ ടിക്കറ്റ് ലഭ്യമാണ്. പരീക്ഷാ പാറ്റേണിൽ ഒബ്ജക്റ്റീവ്-ടൈപ്പ് ചോദ്യങ്ങളും ഉത്തരങ്ങളുടെ ഒന്നിലധികം ചോയ്സുകളുമുണ്ട്. പ്രാഥമിക റൗണ്ടിന് 100 മാർക്ക് ഉണ്ട്, അവിടെ എല്ലാ ശരിയായ ഓപ്ഷനുകളും ഒ.എം.ആർ. ഉത്തര സ്ക്രിപ്റ്റിൽ അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ഈ ഓൺലൈൻ പരീക്ഷയുടെ ദൈർഘ്യം 2 മണിക്കൂറാണ്.

പരീക്ഷയുടെ സ്ഥിതിവിവരക്കണക്കുകൾ:
- ഓരോ ചോദ്യത്തിനും ഒരു മാർക്ക് ഉണ്ട്.
- ശരിയായ ഓപ്ഷനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഉറപ്പില്ലാത്ത ഏതെങ്കിലും പ്രത്യേക ചോദ്യത്തിന് ഉത്തരം നൽകേണ്ടതില്ലെന്ന് ഒരു ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥി തീരുമാനിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ നെഗറ്റീവ് മാർക്കിംഗ് ഒഴിവാക്കാനാകും. ആ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ, ആ ചോദ്യത്തിന്റെ മാർക്കുകൾ കണക്കാക്കില്ല.
- ഏതെങ്കിലും വിഭാഗത്തിലോ വിഷയത്തിലോ ഉള്ള ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥി തെറ്റായ ഓപ്ഷൻ അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ 1/3 നെഗറ്റീവ് മാർക്കിംഗ് ഈടാക്കും.
- പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് ശേഷമുള്ള വാദത്തിന് ശേഷം, ഏതെങ്കിലും പ്രത്യേക ചോദ്യം സിലബസിന് പുറത്താണെന്ന് കേരള പബ്ലിക് സർവീസ് കമ്മീഷൻ കണ്ടെത്തുകയാണെങ്കിൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ എല്ലാ തെറ്റായ ഓപ്ഷനുകളും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ, പരീക്ഷാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ആ ചോദ്യത്തിന് മുഴുവൻ മാർക്കും നൽകും.
- ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞ പാസിംഗ് മാർക്ക് 100-ൽ 40 ആണ്.
- അന്തിമ പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം അന്തിമ റാങ്ക് നൽകും. പേപ്പറിന്റെ കാഠിന്യവും പരീക്ഷ എഴുതുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണവും അനുസരിച്ച് കട്ട് ഓഫ് വ്യത്യാസപ്പെടുന്നു
- വിജയിച്ച ഒരു ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥിയെ അഭിമുഖത്തിന് വിളിക്കുന്നു, തുടർന്ന് റവന്യൂ വകുപ്പിൽ നേരിട്ടുള്ള റിക്രൂട്ട്മെന്റു൦ ലഭിക്കുന്നു.
