Eligibility for Village Field Assistant – Kerala PSC
The Kerala Public Service Commission has updated the eligibility criteria for the candidates who want to appear for the 10th level examinations. Since 2019, the new rules regarding educational qualification, citizenship, age limit, and a maximum number of attempts have been set to action.
Most recent notifications on the official website vividly state that each candidate needs to satisfy all the given criteria to sit for the preliminary exam. The mode of exam and the whole application procedure is programmed online. Let us take a brief look into the eligibility criteria for the Village field assistant examination:
Educational Qualification
- An applicant should hold the SSLC or Secondary School Leaving Certificate issued by a recognized organization before appearing for the Kerala Public Service Commission 10th level preliminary examination
- The candidates must have Malayalam/Kannada/Tamil as one of their primary subjects in secondary school
Apart from these two credentials, a candidate must remain updated with the notification posts of the Kerala PSC official website to see whether the conditions related to cut-off marks have been changed. Failure to meet any above-mentioned criteria will lead to the cancellation of the application for that particular year.
Citizenship
The contenders for the Kerala PSC 10th level examination shall fulfill the specified standards as per the latest guidelines published on the official website of the Kerala PSC Thulasi.
- The candidate must own Indian citizenship. To provide evidence of their claim, examinees must provide photocopies of their AADHAR cards
- The aspirant should be a permanent resident of Kerala (Malayali). Voter ID cards and electricity bill photocopies support a candidate’s address claim
Age Limit
The applicants’ birth date should range from 2nd January 1982 to 1st January 2003. Therefore, the minimum age barrier to appear for the Kerala PSC – Village Field Assistant examination is 18 years of age. The upper age limit is specified as 39 years of age as per the regulations set by the Public Service Commission. The State Committee determines the age relaxation for reserved castes. the Kerala PSC allows a three-year relaxation for the OBC candidates. While the SC and ST categories enjoy a relaxation period of five years. Specially abled candidates get fifteen years more to sit for the test.

പ്രായപരിധി
അപേക്ഷകരുടെ ജനനത്തീയതി 1982 ജനുവരി 2 മുതൽ 2003 ജനുവരി 1 വരെ ആയിരിക്കണം. അതിനാൽ, കേരള പി.എസ്.സി. – വില്ലേജ് ഫീൽഡ് അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് പരീക്ഷ എഴുതുന്നതിനുള്ള ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞ പ്രായപരിധി 18 വയസ്സാണ്. പബ്ലിക് സർവീസ് കമ്മീഷൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ചട്ടങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ച് ഉയർന്ന പ്രായപരിധി 39 വയസ്സായി നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിറ്റിയാണ് സംവരണ ജാതിക്കാർക്ക് പ്രായപരിധി നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിവരങ്ങൾ കേരള പി.എസ്.സി.-യുടെ ഔദ്യോഗിക വെബ്സൈറ്റിലും വ്യക്തമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
