Marking Scheme for Typist Post

The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) is the official recruiting institution that hires applicants on a yearly basis. Typist will be defined as follows: A “Typist” is a person who can type using a keyboard and typing speed is the main quality that the person should have. It is also essential to know various online polyphonic and non-polyphonic keyboards, as well as platform switching, where they are available in the market. Typist could be an entry level professional or a computer operator who receives typing assignments on a daily basis while working with other professionals as an operator. It is also possible to be employed at typing service agencies where they provide help to individuals or organizations in typing documents that are related to legal contracts, orders, letters and so on. The main purpose of a typist is to give the general public a more efficient service by typing various forms and documents that are usually sent to the government offices by different departments. This post requires the person to be educated, of good moral character, healthy, and physically fit to perform the duties that are required in a typist’s post. Typist requires a good understanding of the operation of a computer and the ability to use all of the keyboard keys accurately and quickly, as well as accuracy in recording all incoming data.

About the post

The duties of a Typist today are not merely limited to typing only. Typists also do not have to work in isolation and can work in a team environment. If a company wishes to increase the efficiency of their business, they would rather employ typists in the office environment and train them with some basic typing skills first. Quality of output is equally important as the quantity of output, which may be somewhat lacking if one is just a typist. Since hardly any time is spent on training, typing speed and accuracy is not great for an inexperienced typist and even for an experienced typist it isn’t always perfect because there are so many other activities that may be taking place during the time that typing needs to be done.

Marking scheme 2022

The Marking scheme 2022 is best for understanding the important aspects of the topics in the Typist paper. It gives you an idea about how many questions are being asked from each topic, how difficult they are and which topic would be easy to crack, so that your time can be used in a better manner.
