The candidates who have applied for the Kerala Public Service Commission lab assistant exam must stay updated with the exam pattern and syllabus. Marking Scheme
- The total marks of the examination will be 100
- Duration of the exam will be 90 minutes
- Questions will be of Multiple-Choice type (MCQs)
- Questions will be strictly based on the educational qualification of the candidates
- Questions will be displayed in English (medium of the exam)
- The total number of questions will be 100 and those 100 questions will be divided into 10 sections
- Each section will carry 10 marks
Note: It must be noted that the Kerala Public Service Commission has mentioned that other questions from the prescribed topics for the educational qualification of the post may also appear in the question paper and the 10 mentioned topics may not necessarily be guaranteed to appear in the exam.
Negative Marking
There is no negative marking for the lab assistant job exam. Therefore, the candidates will not get any penalty for answering any question wrong.
The candidates are advised to attempt every MCQ even if they are not sure about the answer as there is no penalty or negative marking for wrong answers.

- ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കും (പരീക്ഷയുടെ മീഡിയം).
- മൊത്തം ചോദ്യങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം 100 ആയിരിക്കും, ആ 100 ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ 10 വിഭാഗങ്ങളായി വിഭജിക്കപ്പെടും.
- ഓരോ വിഭാഗത്തിനും 10 മാർക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.
