Marking Scheme for BEVCO LDC Post
It was only recently that Kerala PSC made an announcement about the employment of the candidates for the position under the Kerala PSC BevCo LDC employment wing. The aspiring applicants can visit the official website and stay updated about all the latest announcements. Here we will highlight some important points regarding the marking scheme which can help the candidates prepare better for the examination.
Marking Scheme
The syllabus and exam pattern play a pivotal role in preparing for the exams and the exam results can play a significant role in the recruitment process thereby showing how crucial it can be to know about the exam pattern and syllabus. Here are a few points mentioned to gain clarity about the marking scheme.
Total Number of Questions – The exam would have 100 questions in all.
Marks for each question – Each question shall be for 1 mark thereby implying that all the 100 questions total carry 100 marks.
Maximum Marks – The maximum number of marks that a candidate can obtain are 100.
Negative Marking – As per the information acquired, there will be no negative marking in the upcoming Kerala PSC BevCo LDC.
Test Type – The exam is based on objective type questions.
Duration of the Exam – 1 hour 15 minutes
Total sections in the exam – The exam comprises 4 sections, General Mathematics, General English, General Knowledge and Reasoning.
Marks distribution section-wise – Each section has specific marks allocated to it, such that the general mathematics is for 20 marks with 20 questions, general English is also for 20 marks with 20 questions, General Knowledge is for 10 marks with 10 questions and lastly, the reasoning section is for 50 marks with 50 questions in it. Certain topics that can be studied – Under each section, there are various topics that one can study. We are listing a few of such topics so that the candidate can get an idea about the syllabus. In General Mathematics, topics such as profit and loss, compound interest, percentages, averages etcetera can be studied. In General English, the topics such as types of sentences, synonyms, antonyms etcetera can be studied. In the reasoning section, topics such as series, word analogy, clerical ability etcetera can be studied.
NOTE:

മാർക്കിങ് സ്കീം
സിലബസും പരീക്ഷാ പാറ്റേണും പരീക്ഷകൾക്ക് തയ്യാറെടുക്കുന്നതിൽ ഒരു പ്രധാന പങ്ക് വഹിക്കുന്നു, കൂടാതെ പരീക്ഷാ ഫലങ്ങൾ റിക്രൂട്ട്‌മെന്‍റ് പ്രക്രിയയിൽ ഒരു പ്രധാന പങ്ക് വഹിക്കും, അതുവഴി പരീക്ഷാ രീതിയെയും സിലബസിനെയും കുറിച്ച് അറിയുന്നത് എത്ര നിർണായകമാണെന്ന് കാണിക്കുന്നു. മാർക്കിങ് സ്കീമിനെക്കുറിച്ച് വ്യക്തത ലഭിക്കുന്നതിന് സൂചിപ്പിച്ച ചില പോയിന്‍റുകൾ ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്.
ആകെ ചോദ്യങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം – പരീക്ഷയിൽ ആകെ 100 ചോദ്യങ്ങളുണ്ടാകും.
ഓരോ ചോദ്യത്തിനും ഉള്ള മാർക്ക് – ഓരോ ചോദ്യവും 1 മാർക്കിനുള്ളതായിരിക്കണം, അതുവഴി എല്ലാ 100 ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്കും 100 ഉണ്ടെന്ന് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
പരമാവധി മാർക്ക് – ഒരു ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥിക്ക് നേടാനാകുന്നത് പരമാവധി 100 മാർക്ക് ആണ്.
നെഗറ്റീവ് മാർക്കിംഗ് – ലഭിച്ച വിവരങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ച്, വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന കേരള പി.എസ്‌.സി. ബെവ്‌കോ എൽ.ഡി.സി.യിൽ നെഗറ്റീവ് മാർക്കിംഗ് ഉണ്ടാകില്ല.
ടെസ്റ്റ് തരം – ഒബ്ജക്ടീവ് ടൈപ്പ് ചോദ്യങ്ങളെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയുള്ളതാണ് പരീക്ഷ.
പരീക്ഷയുടെ ദൈർഘ്യം – 1 മണിക്കൂർ 15 മിനിറ്റ്
പരീക്ഷയിലെ ആകെ വിഭാഗങ്ങൾ – പരീക്ഷയിൽ 4 വിഭാഗങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു, ജനറൽ മാത്തമാറ്റിക്സ്, ജനറൽ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്, ജനറൽ നോളജ്, റീസണിംഗ്.
മാർക്ക് വിതരണം വിഭാഗം തിരിച്ച് – ഓരോ വിഭാഗത്തിനും പ്രത്യേക മാർക്കുകൾ അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്, അതായത് ജനറൽ മാത്തമാറ്റിക്സ് 20 മാർക്കിന് 20 ചോദ്യങ്ങളുള്ളതാണ്, ജനറൽ ഇംഗ്ലീഷും 20 ചോദ്യങ്ങളുള്ളതാണ്, പൊതുവിജ്ഞാനം 10 മാർക്കിന് 10 ചോദ്യങ്ങളും അവസാനമായി, റീസണിങ് വിഭാഗം 50 മാർക്കിനുള്ളതാണ്, അതിൽ 50 ചോദ്യങ്ങളുണ്ട്. മുകളിലുള്ള പോയിന്‍റുകൾ വിശദീകരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പട്ടിക ഇതാ.
