Kerala PSC Exam Cut-Off
Kerala PSC is one of the most important exams conducted by the Kerala Government. Lakhs of students appear in the examination in the ambition of becoming Civil Servants. Cut-off of the exam is declared with the result by the KPSC itself. The cut-off varies year by year. With every year, an increasing number of applicants is making the competition tougher. However, the cut-off of the previous year gives candidates an overview of their preparation and the number of questions they need to attempt to get in the race.
Cut-off of the KPSC depends on several factors including –

The cut-off is declared for each post separately. To know the cut-off for a post, you need to follow these steps-
- Visit the official website of KPSC, which is – www.keralapsc.gov.in
- The page will open, look for the “Results” tab
- On that ‘Results’ tab, you will find the option for “Kerala PSC Cut-off”, click on it
- A new page will open to show the respective cut-offs of various posts
- You can see and also download that list for further use.
Kerala PSC declares a cut-off in different categories for each post, like- General Male and General Female, OBC Male and OBC Female, SC Male and SC Female, ST Male, ST Female, and recently EWS
If we see the cut-off for the KPSC exam 2020, the cut-off for General Male Candidate was 794 marks, for general female it stood at 760 and so on for different categories. If you compare the cut-off of the same post with the years 2019, and 2018,2017, you will see a closeness of numbers in the cut-off. This gives you an elaborated perspective on how you need to prepare.
Kerala PSC declares cut-off for all notified posts like- Administrative Officer, Medical Social Worker, Regional Manager, Sales Assistant, etc.
It is always good to know the previous year’s cut-off so that you can estimate the range of cut-off for the upcoming exam too. You can solve previous year’s papers and know your position in the current scenario. The base of your scores in the previous year’s examination and the cut-off for the respective year can help you perceive your strengths and weaknesses in different topics.
