Qutbuddin Mubarak Shah

Qutbuddin Mubarak Shah was Sultan of Delhi Sultanate from 1316 to 1320; he was the last ruler of Khilji Dynasty, succeeding Shahabuddin Omar and Preceding Khusro Khan.

Qutbuddin Mubarak Shah was the son of Alauddin Khilji and Brother of Shihabuddin Umar. he was imprisoned by Malik Kafur and by his brother due to threats and posed to the  rule of Kafur. He was freed by his father’s bodyguard by killing Kafur, Qutubuddin became the new ruler of the Delhi sultanate after defeating his brother and retained officers and Governors of Alauddin Khilji. Qutbuddin shah was bisexual having a large harem of males and females. He was murdered by Khusro in 1320 which ending Khilji Dynasty.

Qutbuddin Mubarak Shah

Qutbuddin Mubarak Shah becomes the third ruler of Delhi after escaping from the prison of Malik Kafur. He was the son of Alauddin Khilji. After the death of Malik Kafur, people felt relief as he created terror all around. After Alauddin’s death, Mubarak shah was imprisoned due to the breaking rules of Kafur and imprisoned by Malik Kafur. He Appointed his own brother and killed him. After killing Shihabuddin Omar, Mubarak Shah became the Third Ruler of the Delhi sultanate. After becoming ruler of Delhi, he abolished heavy taxes and released thousands of prisoners imposed by his father. Mother of Mubarak Shah was Jhatyapali, she was the daughter of Ramachandra of Devagiri. After the death of Alauddin, Khilji Kafur started to kill family members of Mubarak shah whom he considered as a threat and killed who can control the throne. Mubarak Shah was the biggest threat for Kafur so he imprisoned him. Unfortunately, he was released by the former Bodyguard of his father, Alauddin Khilji. After being freed from prison he killed Kafur. After becoming the third ruler of Delhi he released 17,000 to 18,000 prisoners who were prisoned by Alauddin Khilji. Mubarak Shah reinstated the private lands of Khalisa that were incorporated by Alauddin. He also abolished many taxes and fines that were used harshly. 

Khusrau khan

Khusrau khan was a Sultan of Delhi for two months. He was a prisoner by the Delhi army during the Conquest of Alauddin Khilji. He belongs to Gujrat from a small village Parwari he was a slave and converted into a Muslim. He was Ascending the throne in 1316 during this time he was given the title of “Khusrao Shah ” By Mubarak Shah. Khusrau Khan and his brother Amir Khusrao were members of a group oF Gujrat called Barada. In 1305 during the reign of Alauddin Khilji, he was captured by Delhi Army and converted into Islam with a small affiliation with Hinduism. Khausrau and his brother were captured and converted to Islam and were named as Hasan and Hasamuddin. They were forced to Act as homosexuals for maintaining their status and position. Khuasau khan or Hasan was beloved of Mubarak shah. Mubarak Shah fell in love with Hasan and prefer him as a homosexual partner of him. After the death of Alauddin, Malik Kafur used Shihabuddin Omer’s little son as a puppet ruler. But after killing Malik Kafur Mubarak shah gave Hasan the title of Khusrau khan and he was promoted to the post of Vazir.  Mubarak Shah was Obsessed with Hasan thus he promoted his brother Hasamuddin as the Governor of Gujarat. With the right opportunity of an obsession with Mubarak Shah, Khusrau khan Convinced him to allow for the raising of the army of Baradu. Khusrau khan Contracted officers and conspired with them to kill Mubarak shah as his Royal Palace. 

Khilji Dynasty

Mubarak Shah was the third ruler of Khilji Dynasty. This Dynasty was a Turco-Afghan dynasty that was ruled by Sultans of Delhi. Khilji Dynasty covers a large part of India from 1290 to 1320. This Dynasty was founded by Jalal Uddin Firuz Khilji and ruled for over three decades. He ruled from 1290 to 1296 he was the first ruler and founder of Khilji dynasty. He wanted to rule very peacefully without any violence. In 1292 A.D he defeated Mongols and suppressed the revolt of Malik Chhajju. Allauddin Khilji was appointed as a Governor of Kara. Allauddin Khilji was the nephew and son-in-law of Jalaluddin Khilji. Ultimately, he was murdered by his nephew and Son-in-lawAllauddin Khilji. Then he became the second ruler of Khilji dynasty. He killed the ruler of Ranthambore, Hamir Deva; he was the first ruler of Khilji Dynasty that attacked South India. He sends his general Kafur to rule over south India and was murdered by his beloved Malik Kafur in 1316. After killing Alauddin Khilji, Malik Kafur prisoned Mubarak shah as he was the biggest threat for him. After being released from prison with help of a former bodyguard of Khilji he killed malik Kafur and became the third and last ruler of Khilji dynasty. 

Conclusion 

Khilji dynasty was established by Jalaluddin Khilji. He was a peaceful ruler and did not believe in Violence. He was murdered by Allauddin Khilji and he was his nephew and Son-in-law. Allauddin Khilji became the second ruler and after killing him Malik Kafur prisoned Mubarak Shah. Mubarak shah killed Malik Kafur and became the third ruler of Khilji dynasty. Mubarak Shah was bisexual his homosexual partner was Khusrao Shah. He made Khusrao shah his Vazir but unfortunately, he was killed by his beloved Vazir Khusro khan by Conspiracy with the current government.
