In order to select eligible and knowledgeable applicants for the civil judge positions in UP High Courts, UPPSC holds the Judicial Service examination. Applicants for the UP PCS J position must have a law degree and be between the ages of 22 and 35. Preliminary, Main, and Interview rounds make up the three-stage procedure for choosing the applicants.  

Dates for the prelims and main exams for the UP judicial exam in 2023 have been made published. For the position of Civil Judge, the notification was formally made public. 303 positions for Civil Judges will be filled through this test.
