The HPPSC has issued a job advertisement for seventeen Civil Judge positions. Applicants who are willing and qualified for the Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Exam 2023 should apply online at the HPPSC website by May 12, 2023. The recruitment procedure for Civil Judge positions will comprise a prelims exam, a main exam, and an interview. The prelim exam of Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Exam 2023 consists of 3 papers that will be an objective style assessment each of 100 marks. The exam papers will cover Criminal Law, Civil Law I and Civil Law II. The time of the exam for individual papers will be an hour. The preliminary exam will e conducted at Dharamshala, Mandi, Shimla, and Kangra.
Applicants who pass the preliminary exam will be eligible to take the main exam. It consists of 5 papers which will be in a descriptive style. The papers will cover Hindi Language, English Composition, Criminal Law, Civil Law I and Civil Law II. The duration of the exam for each paper will be 3 hours. This exam will take place at Shimla. Those who pass the main test of the Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Exam 2023 will be invited to the interview (viva-voce) which is for 100 marks. The interview will assess the applicants’ general knowledge, intellect, personality, and aptitude for the position of Civil Judge.

- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- The applicant must be at least 22 years old, but no older than 35 years old, as of the deadline for submitting online applications.
