Latest Update: The JEE Main B.Tech admit card for the January 27 exam is now available on jeemain.nta.ac.in 2024, as released by the NTA.
The National Testing Agency has announced the JEE Main 2024 examination date. The examination will be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 will be held from 24th January 2024 to 1st February 2024. The session 2 exam will start on 1st April 2024 and continue till 15th April. The notification for the same will be released soon by the agency.

JEE Main 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
There is no fixed age limit.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have cleared the 10+ 2 or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates who have cleared the 12th board exam in 2022 and 2023 or will appear for the exam in 2024 are also eligible.
Subjects in the Qualifying Exam
The candidates should have cleared the following subjects-
- Language
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical vocational subject
- Any other subject
Admission Criteria for NITs, IITs, and CFTIs
- For B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Plan :
Minimum 75 per cent marks (65 per cent for SC/ST category) or should come under the top 20 percentile.
- For B.Arch in institutes other than NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs:
50 per cent aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in the 10+ 2 or equivalent examinations.
JEE Main 2024 Application Process
The process to fill out the JEE Main 2024 application form is mentioned below:
Step 1 – Registration
- Visit the official website.
- Click on New Registration.
- Enter the required details.
- Click on register.
Step 2 – Filling the form
After completing the registration, fill out the application form. Enter the required details.
Step 3- Uploading images
The next step is to upload the required documents like:
- Candidate’s photo
- Signature of the candidate
- Address proof
- Category certificate (if required)
- PwD certificate (if required)
Step 4 – Payment of application fee
After uploading the documents, pay the application fee.
Step 5 – Take a printout
Download the application form and take a printout for future use.
JEE Main 2024 Admit Card
Candidates can follow the below-given steps to download the admit card:
Step 1 – Visit the website – www.jeemain.nts.in.
Step 2 – On the homepage, click on notification.
Step 3 – Select the JEE Main 2024 admit card link.
Step 4 – A new window will appear. Enter the required credentials.
Step 5 – Click on the submit option.
Step 6 – The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 7 – Download and save the admit card.
Step 8 – Take a printout.
JEE Main 2024 Exam Pattern
The JEE Main 2024 exam consists of 3 papers-
- Paper 1
- Paper 2A
- Paper 2B
The candidates who wish to join BE or B. Tech courses shall apply for Paper 1. Candidates opting for B. Arch courses must appear for Paper 2A. Paper 2B is for the B. Planning course.
The JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will have physics, chemistry, and mathematics questions. Paper 2 A will judge candidates in math, aptitude, and drawing. Paper 2B will have questions on maths, aptitude, and planning.
