Merchant Navy Courses After 10th

  • NCV Deck Cadet: This six-month residential course, approved by D.G Shipping (Govt of India), focuses on Deck Operations for Dredgers, Tugs, and OSVs. Successful candidates are issued an INDIAN CDC after passing internal examinations.

Merchant Navy After Diploma

Merchant Navy After Graduation

  • GME Course: Graduate Marine Engineering (GME) is a one-year Pre-sea Training course for graduates with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture. It leads to a Class IV Marine Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency.
  • ETO Course: Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) is a four-month Pre-sea Training course for graduates with a diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
  • MBA Programmes: The Indian Maritime University (IMU) offers two-year full-time MBA programs in Port and Shipping Management and International Transportation and Logistics Management.
  • M.Tech Programmes: Under the School of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, IMU offers M.Tech programs in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, as well as Dredging and Harbour Engineering.
  • PGDME: IMU, Mumbai & Kochi Campus, conducts a one-year pre-sea training course known as PGDME (Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Engineering). This course is similar to the GME Course.
