The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) for admission to various MBA and PGDM courses in the country and abroad. It is a computer-based examination comprising objective type multiple-choice questions. This examination judges the candidates on the skills required for success in a management program.

GMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Valid Passport or Aadhar (check out the GMAC website for all latest updates).
- Age years
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years. There is no upper age limit. -
Qualification
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute. Students in the final year of graduation can also apply. -
Language Requirements –
Since the exam is conducted in English, knowledge of the language is required. -
Attempts
A maximum of 5 attempts are permitted in a year with a gap of 16 days between them. an aspirant can attempt a total of 8 times in a lifetime.
GMAT 2023 Application Process
Follow the below-given steps to register for GMAT
Step 1 – Visit the GMAT website.
Step 2 – On the homepage, click on Create Profile.
Step 3 – Enter the required credentials. Now, verify your profile.
Step 4 – Select the test date and centre.
Step 5 – Confirm the GMAT 2023 details.
Step 6 – Pay the application fee. The confirmation of the application will be sent via e-mail.
Step 7 – Save the pdf to your system
Step 8 – The next step is to select the schools. (Maximum programmes – 5).
Step 9 – Review the confirmation letter for the examination to see if all the details are correct.
Note:
- Candidates can register for the GMAT examination online, by phone, postal mail, or by fax.
- The fee can be paid using a cheque, debit card, credit card, or money order.

To register through the phone, candidates should call the customer service (GMAT) in their region. An additional service fee of US$10 will be charged.
