- Kanchenjunga Peak
The third-highest mountain globally and the highest mountain peak in India is Kanchenjunga. It rises at an altitude of 8,586 metres (28,169 feet) over sea level in the Kanchenjunga Himal region of the Himalayas, bordered to the west by the Tamur River and to the east by the Teesta River.
- Mount Nanda Devi
The second-highest peak in India is Nanda Devi, one of the tallest mountains in the world. Given that Kanchenjunga is located between the Nepal and India borders, this mountain is the tallest one in India.
