Stokes

The viscous property of the fluid is the force implied by the fluid over the particles and the CGS unit of that force is known as stokes. Know more here.

Table of Content
  •

The CGS unit of kinematic viscosity is called stokes that is used in the study of fluid mechanics of physics. Fluid mechanics is the part of physics that helps in solving the problems related to the fluid and also for knowing the properties of the fluid. Stoke law is defined in this part of physics to solve the problems related to the kinematic viscosity in fluid mechanics.

State stokes

Fluid mechanics is a part of physics that deals with the properties and features of fluid and the problems related to it are solved with the use of stokes law that is given the scientist stoke. The law is given by the scientist stoke and defined that the CGS unit of the kinematic viscosity is stoked. The scientist discovers the law that helps the learners in solving the problems related to the movement of fluids. The CGS unit means the lowest value of the unit that is used in the fluid mechanics that integrates the greater values. The stroke law of fluid mechanics gives the mathematical representation of the formula to find the effects of fluid on the particles that go through the fluid medium.

What example is of stokes

An example of stokes is that it is used to find the force exerted by the fluid on the particles that are passed through the fluid medium. The force is calculated for the small particle and integrating that tiny surface force, one can find the total force exerted on the particle by the fluid medium during the cross. The fluid mechanics deal with the force of fluid medium on the particles and the force of fluid cannot be calculated directly so that the integration is used to identify the actual and total force exerted by the medium on the particle.

Role of stokes in viscosity

The role of stokes in viscosity is important because stoke’s law helps in finding the viscosity of a liquid. The particle is passed through the liquid medium and the medium exerts some force on the particle that is calculated by stoke’s law of fluid mechanics which helps in knowing the viscous property of any liquid. The viscous property of any liquid is important to identify because it helps in the communication of people through the waterways. The viscous property of liquid ensures that the particle that crosses through the medium will be dipped or not in the liquid medium.

Define stokes in physics

Fluid mechanics is a part of physics that deals with the study of properties and behaviour of different fluids and in case any particle is passed through the medium then it exerts some force on the particles that are known as viscosity. The viscosity is the repelling property of the fluid medium and the viscosity is identified by stoke’s law which means the force deployed by the liquid on the particle and the CGS unit of the fluid kinematics is known as the stoke. The law is defined by a scientist named stokes that is why the name of the law is stoke’s law of physics.  Stoke’s law is helpful in observing the force exerted by the medium on the particle and is also helpful in solving the problems related to the fluid mechanics part of physics. The fluid mechanics deals with fluid medium and the force implemented by the liquid means on the particles. The deployment of force by the liquid methods cannot be calculated at once so that the force is calculated on a tiny area of a particle first then the tiny force is integrated to calculate the total force exerted by the medium on the particles.

Conclusion

It has been concluded from the above section that the CGS unit of the fluid kinematics is called stoke, and the fluid mechanics is the part of mechanics in physics paper that helps in the study of properties and behaviour of the liquid medium. The liquid medium also exerts a force on the particles when a particle is passed through the liquid medium which is known as the viscous property of the fluid.

Fluid mechanics is a part of physics that provides the knowledge of properties and behaviour of liquid medium which means the force applied by liquid medium on the particle that is passed through it. The force exerted by the medium is known as the viscous property and the CGS unit of it is known as stoke.

The viscous property of a liquid medium is the property that repels the particle when the particle is passed through the medium. The force applied by the medium on the particle is known as the viscosity of that medium and to identify the viscosity of the liquid, stoke’s law is used.

Fluid mechanics is the section of physics that deals with the study of the properties and behaviour of the fluids that are the viscous property of fluids. The viscous property of the fluid is the force exerted by the medium when a particle is passed through the fluid. Fluid mechanics provides the proper study of the properties related to fluid medium that helps in knowing the force and density of the liquid.

The force applied by the fluid medium is calculated by using the formula of stoke’s law of physics. The law first calculates the force on a tiny area of a particle and the line integral of that force gives the total force exerted by the medium on the particle at the time of cross of the particle through the medium.
