Inorganic Chemical Industries

What do we understand by inorganic chemical industries? What are inorganic chemicals? What is the list of inorganic chemicals? We will focus on all these points in this section.

Inorganic Chemistry

Chemistry is an important branch of science that can further be categorised as organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry. The type of chemistry which involves the study of inorganic compounds such as metals, organometallic compounds and minerals is known as inorganic chemistry. Inorganic chemistry refers to the study of the formation, synthesis and properties of those compounds which do not have carbon-hydrogen bonds within them since the compounds with carbon-hydrogen are researched under organic chemistry.

List of inorganic chemicals

Several inorganic chemicals can be easily found and studied. Some of the inorganic ions can be found naturally in water, these ions include sodium, calcium, potassium, chlorides etcetera.

Chemical Industries

Industries have become a very important part of today’s modern world. Chemical industries are also a type of industries that play a notable role in our day to day life. These industries can help in the conversion of the raw material into the products that are desired by the masses and used in everyday life. These products prepared in chemical industries can be found in various spheres of life such as food, agriculture, construction and many more.

Inorganic chemicals in chemical industries

Inorganic compounds are used for various purposes. The use of inorganic compounds can be found in a lot of ways such as use as catalysts, fuels and so much more. When we talk of industrial inorganic compounds, we focus on those chemical industries which manufacture inorganic products which are used for producing high purity inorganics on a comparatively very small scale.

It can be noted that industrial inorganic chemistry has multiple subdivisions of the chemical industry which manufactures inorganic products on a large scale such as heavy inorganics, for example, sulfuric acid. It also includes fertilizers such as nitrogen, potassium and phosphorous products. These can include the reagents and the raw materials used in high-tech industries such as the electronics industries and the pharmaceutical industries, along with the preparation of inorganic specialities, for example, catalysts, propellants and pigments.

Conclusion

As we have concluded, it can be clearly said that inorganic chemistry plays a significant part in chemistry and the world of science. Inorganic chemistry is that branch of chemistry in which the study of inorganic compounds is carried on. Few of the inorganic compounds include germane, hydrazine, borane, boroxine, etcetera. Chemical industries are involved in the production of industrial chemicals. A lot of industries help in the production of desirable products from raw materials. These products are commonly used in various spheres of life such as construction areas and agricultural areas.
