SSC CHSL Full-form | What is the full-form of SSC CHSL?

SSC CHSL 2022 is a national-level test held to recruit higher secondary qualified students into various government agencies, offices, and ministries for positions such as Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, LDCs, Junior Secretariat Assistants, and so on. The Staff Selection Commission has issued the SSC CHSL 2022 Notification, which includes information such as the SSC CHSL test date, vacancy, eligibility, syllabus, and so on. According to the official notice, the SSC CHSL 2022 Test Date for the Tier 2 exam is September 18, 2022, while the Tier 1 exam was held from May 24 to June 10, 2022. 

SSC CHSL Exam

The SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (SSC CHSL) is a national test held to select lower division clerks (LDC), data entry operators (DEO), and postal assistants/sorting assistants (PA / SA) in various Central government agencies and ministries.

SSC CHSL is a combined competitive test to recruit Higher Secondary qualified students for various government ministries and positions. SSC CHSL stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam.

Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator are among the positions available. SSC may recommend applicants for Assistants / Clerks positions via a computer-based test, descriptive paper, Skill Test, or Typing Test.

Every year, the SSC CHSL test is held for recruitment in different Ministries/Departments/Organisations of the Government of India. The SSC administers the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL, 10+2) test to fill a large number of positions, including

What is SSC CHSL Full form?

The Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam is the full version of SSC CHSL in English. SSC CHSL is one of the national-level tests administered by the SSC, a staff recruiting organisation for various posts in the Government of India and its subordinates’ ministries and departments. It was established on November 4, 1975, and has its headquarters in New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL

The core SSC CHSL qualifying standards are based on age, nationality, and academic performance.

The following are the qualifying criteria:

  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen or a Nepalese/Bhutanese or Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle in India permanently.
  • Educational requirements include passing or appearing in class 12 or equivalent from a recognised educational board or university.
  • Age Criteria: Applicants must be between 18 and 27 as of January 1, 2021; however, some reserved category candidates may be eligible for reservation under Indian government guidelines. Specifically, applicants must have been born between January 2, 1994, and January 1, 2003.

There will be a negative marking of 0.50 for each incorrect answer in Tier I.

Students should keep in mind that Tier II is both an assessment and a qualification, whereas Tier III is solely a qualification. You must strive to perform well in the SSC CHSL Examination Tiers.

SSC CHSL - Selection Process

The SSC CHSL 2022 selection procedure is based on the outcomes of all three levels.

  • Candidates must be required to qualify for each tier to advance to the next tier.
  • Shortlisting individuals have completed the final selection list based on their additive performance over the first two levels.
  • Tier 3, a skill-based test, may be used to ensure that applicants have the necessary competencies. This stage is a qualifying round.

Candidates are invited to the Document Verification after passing all three stages.

Candidates are assigned to various departments for Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Divisional Clerks, and Court Clerks based on their merit and post preference.
