Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM)

The Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) is regarded as one of India’s premier mountaineering schools, as well as Asia’s most famous mountaineering school.

Through its many Mountaineering and Adventure courses, the Institute aims to acquaint and initiate young men, women, and school children to the mountains and nature. To ensure environmental awareness and protection, a strong emphasis is placed on teaching the sense of adventure as well as adhering to traditional environmental rules.NIM was founded on November 14, 1965, in Uttarkashi, to celebrate the tremendous ambition of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister and fervent mountain enthusiast.

In 1964, the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh proposed the establishment of a mountaineering institute in Uttarkashi. NIM chose Uttarkashi as its home due to its close proximity to the Gangotri region in western Garhwal, which offers unquestionably the highest climbing and training potential in India, if not the world.

Full Form of NAF

NaF (Sodium Fluroide)

The reaction of hydrofluoric acid with sodium carbonate or sodium hydroxide yields sodium fluoride, which has the formula NaF.

Sodium fluorosilicate, formerly known as sodium silicofluoride, is the most cost-effective fluoridation chemical. It takes a holistic approach to both ‘business’ and ‘IT,’ with the former serving as the driver and the latter as an enabler. Because each aspect of a well-designed Enterprise Architecture will have documented interdependencies, it’s rare that a change in one place will not cause a change in another.

National Africa Foundation (NAF)

National Africa Foundation has long-term relationships with the communities in which it works, Africa Foundation succeeds where other non-profit organisations fail. National AIDS Fund (NAF)

The National AIDS Fund was established in 1988 with the goal of reducing HIV/AIDS incidence and impact by encouraging leadership and raising funds for effective community responses to the epidemic. NAF supports over 400 grassroots organisations each year through its unique expanding network of Community Partnerships, which in turn provide HIV prevention, care, and support services to underserved individuals and populations most impacted by HIV/AIDS, including communities of colour, youth, and women.

The National AIDS Fund is a nonprofit organisation that brings together national and local donors, scientists, and community-based organisations. It invests more than $8 million yearly in HIV/AIDS grant making to agencies around the country through its Partnerships, and it has the authority and obligation to drive conversations on the most effective HIV prevention techniques.
