The full form of ISI is the Indian Standard Institute, which provides the ability to make equality of industrial products compared to other products. It provides a licensed mark or certification mark on the products to approve that it is an authenticated product of India. 

General products of ISI

ISI refers to a certification mark on the industrial products of India, to verify and approve that the product is authenticated and properly accepted by the Government of India. General products with ISI certification marks are all types of electronic items, LPG cylinders, packet foods, drinking items, thermometers, and many more. Besides these, there are some products also which use this ISI certification number or a license number that was approved by the Government of India. 

Main goals of ISI

The main aims and goals of the Indian Standard institute are to provide certification marks and product authenticity for all industrial products of India. It also tries to implement the good’s quality and standardize the marks of the goods. In order to maintain the national standard for the goods, Indian Standard Institute takes the responsibility to maintain and manage the standardization of the goods and products in India.
