IPL Full Form

The Indian Premier League (IPL) was started in 2007 to promote domestic cricket to international platforms. This cricket format is initially organized by the eight cricket teams in March and May of every year.

Although an official statement of the BCCI has been published in the media that in order to fail to provide a mandatory bank guarantee, the BCCI has to take harsh decisions to terminate that team. In addition, the BCCI has implemented strict rules against match-fixing where the Chennai and Rajasthan franchise have been suspended for two years of participation in the IPL.

Difference between BBL and IPL tournament

Comparison between two popular cricket tournaments, experts are considered Big bash league (BBL) and IPL. IPL is known for the T20 cricket format of India whereas BBL has been sponsored by the KFC that is organized in Australia. Time selection of the BBL organizes matches from December to February. Both leagues have eight teams. In the IPL maximum four foreign players are allowed in the 11 member squad, and for fewer than 19 cricketers, some rules are mandatory. In the BBL, only two overseas players are allowed in the first eleven squad members.
