IFFCO stands for Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited. This company was founded in 1967 and the company mainly makes various types of organic and bio-fertilizer products. This study also discusses the goals and mission of the company which may help the company to increase its popularity and production in the future. Several programs are arranged by IFFCO for conducting their business in multi states of India. Besides this, the study discussed various products of the company which are mainly fertiliser products that help in the agricultural process. Thi8s study also discusses the future of the company and its products’ effects on the agriculture of the country.
Mission and Vision
IFFCO is an Indian company that manufactures organic fertiliser products which help the agricultural process of the country. IFFCO is making corporate plans, “Mission 2005, Vision 2010, and Vision 2015”. The main mission of IFFCO is “to make the Indian farmers enable for prospering through supply which is time-bound, maintaining quality and services which are environment friendly and contribute in human and environmental welfare”. The organisation is following some objectives to complete its missions and vision, which is conducting the company at the next phase of development and growth. Those objectives of vision are:
- Achieving a targeted process of energy-saving by modernisation of the plants.
- Manufacturing new fertiliser products and making “Agro-Chemicals Projects and Agro-processing Units”.
- Diversification of e-commerce and increasing business.
Besides this vision, the organisation is also following some objectives to complete the targeted mission of the organisation. The objective of the mission is to “provide farmers with high-quality fertilisers in the right time and in adequate quantities to increase crop productivity”. Another targeted “mission” of IFFCO is to develop the environment and health of the community by manufacturing organic fertiliser. Organisation follows a mission of making core values in the organisation, making a team, and doing innovation in the organisation. The organisation followed the mission of making an energy-efficient plant and using cost-effective technology in the organisational development process.
Goals and Programs of IFFCO
IFFCO is following some goals under their vision which is following the development of the organisation. Those goals are;
- To stand as a Global Leader in Fertilisers production.
- Implementation of strategies which help to reduce consumption of energy and to manage resources’.
- Making diversification in different sectors of the organisation for increasing sustainability in the financial level.
- To achieve the Fertilisers marketing target of 15 million tonnes per annum.
- To help various cooperative societies of the country to become stronger in the economic level and to manage the farming community with advanced practice in agriculture.
- To promote integrated management in the nutrient management of agriculture and to use optimum fertiliser in the agricultural process.
Some programs and initiatives are funded by IFFCo which are as follows, “Fertilisers, General Insurance, Logistics, Kisan SEZ, Rural Retail, Online Multi-Commodity Exchange, Rural Telecom, and Organic Agri-Input”. Some famous programs of IFFCO are; “Farmer development program”, “Village Adoption programs”, “Cyber Dhabas & Kisan Sanchar”, “Save the Soil Campaign”, “IFFCO Chairs in Institutions”. These programs are made for farmers to increase their ability in the production process and improvement of agriculture. Those initiatives have been followed by the organisation for over 50 years to develop the agricultural process in India. Those programs are made for teaching the farmer appropriate and sufficient use of fertilisers in agriculture and the positive effects of organic fertiliser.
Products of IFFCO and its Future
The organisation is making various bio-Products that help the farmer to complete their agriculture process organically. The organisation produces different types of fertilising products which are divided into some divisions. Those are; “Primary nutrients, SEcondary nutrients, Water soluble fertilisers, Organic and biofertilizer, Micronutrients, Nano fertiliser, and urban gardening”. Those various types of fertilisers are making such ways that those are to help the environment and to increase the use of biodegradable fertilisers in the future. Some examples of primary nutrient products, are “NP(S) 20-20-0-13(N- Nitrogen and P- Phosphorus), NPK 12-32-16 (p- Phosphorus and k- potassium)and DAP 18-46-0 (DAP- Diammonium phosphate)”. Some examples of organic fertiliser are, “Rhizobium, Azotobacter and Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria”.

It is concluded that this study is developing by analysing the fertiliser organisation of India and Indian Farmer Fertiliser Cooperative Limited. Besides this, the study discusses different objectives of the organisation which is followed by IFFCO to complete their mission. The organisation is following some vision which may help the organisation to develop more in future. It is seen that the study of the organisation is focused on the vision which will help the organisation develop in the future. IFFCO is making some programs that help the farmers of the country to increase their agricultural process and production.
