DA is an abbreviation for many words in the English vocabulary. Dearness Allowance

Dearness allowance is a scheme where the government allows a defined amount to be added to basic salaries of employees. The dearness allowance donated by the government ensures its citizens get their minimum requirement for their family such as food, water, shelter etc. This amount is decided by the government and depends on the cost of living. It is paid in a lump sum without deductions or tax and as stated in The Income Tax Act of 1961 it is the duty of the tax department to check on the correctness of the allowance every year. Dearness allowance was introduced between the late 1950s and the early 1960s.

District Attorney

The district attorney is the elected prosecutor of the country in which he or she resides. The district attorney is in charge of  the enforcement of the criminal laws of the state, and with the prosecution of all offenders against the criminal law, except in cases where the offender is a minor. The district attorney is a part of the executive branch of government. The chief deputy district attorney is the deputy district attorney, and the district attorney is assisted by an assistant. 

Degenerative Arthritis

Degenerative arthritis is an incurable inflammation of the joints that is often treated with physiotherapy or it can also be treated with medication. Over time the inflammation leads to the degeneration of cartilage and the bones rubbing together, causing the pain. It is more common in people who are over 40 years of age. One of the most common symptoms that are seen in degenerative arthritis are the pain and fatigue that many people experience. People who have arthritis do not usually have the ability to walk, which makes it difficult to carry out their daily routine. In the worst case scenario, many people with arthritis can’t stand or walk at all. 

Department of Agriculture

The Department of Agriculture is responsible for environmental and agricultural conservation, regulation, and research. It is a federal agency and is one of the more important agencies that work within the commands of the country’s government and the ecosystem conservation organisations. The Department of Agriculture has the following objectives

1.To help in the production and distribution of food for the Nation’s people.

2.To help the consumer make wise food choices by providing information on the nutritional value of food, the safety of food, and the benefits of eating a well-balanced diet.

3.To maintain the health and productivity of livestock, poultry and other animal species. 

4.To assure a safe, healthful and environmentally sound environment for the Nation’s agriculture.

Digital Audio

Digital audio is a method of transmitting and storing sounds. It is an electronic signal comprising a time sequence of discrete, electrical impulses that represent sounds. The analogue sound is converted into a digital form and transmitted via a communication medium (internet or as an audio file of MP3,MP4). At the receiving end, the signal can be converted into a digital signal and then played in the preferred sound system. 

Digital Assistant

The digital assistant (DA) is a computer program designed to answer questions and serve as an information retrieval tool. The DA is a type of chatbot, a type of natural language processing program that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to communicate via natural language with humans. The Digital Assistant  is a primarily automated conversation-oriented digital voice assistant. The DA will act as a digital assistant for one or more users. The DA is designed to respond to user inquiries with an appropriate response and provide additional information as appropriate.

Conclusion

As presented in the above article, DA holds many full forms which are used in the different areas of study, conversational or argument situations etc. However the use of DA is not frequent for some of its full forms, such as Digital Audio, Degenerative Arthritis, Digital assistant in common situations that is excluding professional use.
